My husband and I moved from Los Angeles to Tehachapi last year, and started a small working farm on just over an acre. In addition to our dogs and cats, we have chickens and ducks. We have also planted some vegetables, fruit trees, berries, grapes, and hazelnuts. We have an active mushroom bed, and we’re working on building up our pasture to have sheep and goats in the future. Our goal is to have a small regenerative farm where people can come relax and get away from the city. If you’re interested in learning more about regenerative agriculture, culinary mushrooms, or farm animals; we’d love to introduce you to what we know. With a bit of advanced notice, I’m happy to make us a meal to share and get to know each other, or you can grab some farm fresh eggs from the coop and some mushrooms, fruit or veggies from the orchard (fresh eggs, mushrooms, fruits, and veggies may not always be available). We welcome you to come and stay with us as we build the farm of our dreams.
