Great location
90% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Situated just moments walk from the town centre of wonderful Cockermouth, this recently renovated apartment makes the perfect base for your Lake District break.

The Fallows is located within a quiet, secluded apartment complex, with the apartment having its own dedicated off-road parking space. The ground-floor location makes it ideal for tired and weary legs...ready to kick off the shoes and relax at the end of the day!

The space
The apartment features a cosy and comfortable double bedroom, with plenty of storage for clothes and bags, no matter how long your Lakeland break. The well-equipped kitchen is ready should you fancy cooking for yourselves, but with such a range of local food establishments just moments walk away, it would be a shame not to try them out - why not for breakfast too?! Your friendly hosts will gladly help with recommendations if needed.

For walkers, Cockermouth is the ideal location. See a spectacular sunset from the top of Skiddaw or Cat Bells? Or climb Blencathra or Helvellyn before breakfast? All are within easy reach, as are all the Northern Fells if you want to tick off a Wainright or three.

For cyclists, many of the legendary Lakeland routes can be ridden right from the doorstep, or how about more of a challenge and take on the Tour Of Britain Timetrial stage which begins just 500m from the door? Follow it up with an easier day on a flatter route towards the picturesque west coast - this location really does have a lot for everyone.

For mountain bikers, the uk-reknowned trail centre at Whinlatter is only 10 minutes drive away, or cycle there and back - both are possible. Don’t worry, there’s a great bike shop and cafe there to refuel after you’ve taken on the great range of Red and Blue routes on offer.

Trail running in the fells, paddle-boarding on famous lakes, or just having a relaxing time-out from the world, there’s something for everyone here.
