I had a lovely time on Christian's boat. I arrived in Porto early and Christian's mother was kind enough to pick me up at the airport ahead of the check in time on the ad. The boat itself is very cosy and comfortable. The staff at the Marina are helpful and friendly. Near the Marina there are some really nice seafood hotels that are open until late. The main city center is around 40 minutes on the bus but the journey is very nice as you get to see the port as well as other suburbs of Porto. I would highly recommend the boat!

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! I stayed for 5 days on the boat, I throughly enjoyed the peace, the sea and the marina. Christan's mum is incredibly sweet and accomodating. I have arrived delayed and late at night and still I was greeted nicely. The boat is super cosy, however I would say that it's for 2 people max. The only thing I missed is some kind of basic electric cooking stove or kettle to make a tea/ coffee in the morning. As a solo female traveller I felt really safe in the harbour and the people, sailors and fishermen that I met where all very friendly. The internet doesn't work very well on the boat, the only way to use it fully is to sit outside of the marina office( in case someone has to work). There's a surfing beach 2 min away with stunning sunsets. Getting into Porto takes a while (40-60 min) but for me personally the closness to the ocean was perfect and that distance wasn't a problem. Thanks again!

Myself and my boyfriend stayed on this lovely boat for a few days at the end of sept/oct. We had a really nice time on the boat, such a different but fantastic experience! The boat had everything we needed and was really cosy and clean, the marina is very nice and showers/toilets were fine, cheap coffee machine (30cents) and friendly people about. Felt very safe there with police station down the road and police boats in the marina, and entrance to marina requiring a card. The marina was about 40mins outside of Porto, we found the metro the best way to get there (blue line get off at mercado and walk across the bridge). Quiet area, we were the only tourists which we loved, and also found some of the best restaurants in Porto! Real local cuisine with family run restaurants, fish freshly caught (boats coming into the marina!). Recommend the Taverna. Beach 100m away, nice sand and good waves. Christian was very nice and quick to respond, he was away that week but his mum met us and showed us the boat, and although speaking v little English, was incredibly kind and sweet! Would definitely recommend this boat, and Porto as a holiday destination!

Staying on the boat was the great experience. I was dreaming about Porto for years and Cristian with his family was part of people who were involved in making my dream came true. People is always one of the main part of the experience - and they were welcoming us greatly. Would come back once again!

Very responsive and communicative host. No problems with picking up the key - on time and in the right place. In the boat you can find many useful things like plastic cups, wine glasses, wine opener, small fridge... Bed is definitely only for two people as there is a very low roof (watch your head :p). If you want to take a hot shower you need to go to the bathroom in very early morning hours. Unfortunately we had to take a cold shower but this is something on what the host does not have influence. 25 min walking from the metro station. It is a very quite neighborhood, not really touristic so prices are much lower then in the city center. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed on the boat during the festival Primavera Sounds and it was a great stay. It exceeded our expectations by far. Everything was clean, they provide towels, bed covers, shampoo and all the basics. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
