This ideally situated delightful, ground floor property is located in the historic village of Middleham, surrounded by pretty gardens, sure to inspire gardeners in all seasons, with wonderful and far-reaching, countryside views and just a stones throw from picturesque Coverdale perfect for walks with your four legged friend.

On entering the property, the hallway leads to all rooms; the modern and spacious kitchen with breakfast bar and stools is the perfect perch to sit and entertain chef; this leads through to the sunny conservatory where you can unwind and enjoy the evening sun or a lazy breakfast – the views from here are stunning and dogs love this warm, relaxing room too! The light sitting room has plenty of comfy seating and a cosy open fire for chillier evenings. A separate dining room overlooks the verdant garden with french doors opening out to the raised balcony. Two good size bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and a twin room, are both comfortable and stylishly decorated.

Outside, the garden is a real joy with lovely flower borders and many different trees and shrubs. The sunny seating area is ideal for alfresco dining and the balcony boasts beautiful, far reaching views. There are steep steps in the garden which are not suitable for children or those with limited mobility.

Additional Information:
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge).
Dog bowls, dog towels and a medium dog crate is provided.
Due to steep steps, children over the age of 10 years and infants of 12 months and under are welcome.

A very attractive room with comfortable seating and a Smart television with Freeview. A large window letting in the sunlight and an open fire in a decorative fireplace complete this delightful room..
Kitchen
Well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is a large breakfast bar with high stools. The kitchen has a door leading to the garden.
Dining room
With a dining table, seating for four guests and french doors leading to the garden.
Conservatory
A sunny room looking over the mature garden and leading out onto the raised decked patio. Lovely far-reaching views.
Bedroom one
With a king-size bed.
Bedroom two
With twin single 3' beds. Built in storage and views of the garden.
Shower room
With a corner shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Outside:
Enclosed private patio area with bistro table and four chairs, opening up to the garden with mature borders, trees and evergreen bushes.
Drive-in access to the property is off a steep hill to a steep drive, visitors may be more comfortable parking on the cul-de-sac above the property.

Middleham, England, United Kingdom

Middleham is noted for its own Castle, sitting proudly at the top of the village Middleham Castle, the childhood home of Richard III, is well worth a visit. Middleham is also famous for its many racing stables, Middleham Racing Tours gives you the opportunity to get up close and personal with the stars of the north's premier racehorse training centre. The famous training centre is home to around 15 racehorse trainers and over 500 horses. There are Pubs and restaurants offering good Yorkshire Fayre within the small town.

Leyburn, only a few miles away, is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National a bustling market town with independent retailers, and eateries. For spectacular views of Wensleydale take a stroll along The Leyburn Shawl where is is said Mary Queen of Scots dropped her shawl whilst escaping from nearby Castle Bolton. Visit Bolton Castle a 14th Century castle that is still privately owned.

There are some stunning waterfalls close by so make sure you visit the Aysgarth Falls or the highest unbroken waterfall at Hardraw. A treat for all ages is the Forbidden Corner in Middleham, a strange and wonderful place full of surprises. In the spring Constable Burton Gardens are awash with tulips and daffodils.

For steam train enthusiasts ride the Heritage Wensleydale Railway stretching from Leeming Bar in the Vale of Mowbray to Redmire, a day out full of nostalgia. Enjoy beautiful food at the many restaurants and cafes serving local Yorkshire produce.

The Yorkshire Dales are a year round destination for many activities such as cycling, walking, nature watching, visiting historic castles. Whatever you choose to do you will be spoilt for choice in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
