Guests have exclusive use of the private woodland, games field and excellent facilities. We have three luxurious sleeping tents and a huge lounge tent, which surround a central area with a fire pit, covered outdoor kitchen and bar, covered banquet table and the much favoured Scandi BBQ Hut.
Our site is perfect for 2-3 families or a small group. The price is for the whole site.
At quieter times we will offer a discount for use of 2 tents only- get in touch to discuss your requirements.
The space
We've carefully thought out everything we've created on the site, so that it is functional and also beautiful. Our aim is to provide a space away from home that allows guests to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the outdoors in comfort and with minimal effort. Even non campers have given excellent reviews!
Our hand crafted outdoor kitchen and bar has everything you should need for cooking Al Fresco. There is a four hob gas burner and BBQ facilities.
There is a 12V fridge freezer with a 90L capacity.
The site is off grid so there is no mains electricity or WIFI. We have a bank of solar panels that power the lights in the kitchen and toilet. We have a 12V USB charging point for mobiles.
The toilet block has two toilets, two basins and two rainhead showers and changing area. One tent is close to the toilet block, the other two are a bit further away, please ask for details.
Our spacious lounge tent has very comfy sofas surrounding a gas log burner for any chilly evenings or early mornings. We have lots of games, toys, books and blankets available for your use. Three camp beds can be added in here if needed for your group.
We have outdoor seating around the firepit and other little beautiful spots to sit and relax. Lots of outdoor cushions are available. The Scandi BBQ Hut provides a unique space to warm up, cook and relax.
The Sleeping Set Up
Our three 6m sleeping tents are all high quality Ultimate Pro 360gsm
4 seasons cotton canvas bell tents, fire resistant to BS7837 and BS6341.
The tents can be heated during the colder months.
Each tent has a king sized bed with a comfy mattress topper and we have eight single camping beds that can be moved to suit the requirements of your group. A lovely wooden cot can be provided if needed.
We provide all bedding and one towel per person.
We can sleep a maximum of 12 people in total. If your group goes over 12 and includes children get in touch because we can likely facilitate this.
If you’re looking to book for 12 adults please note that some will have to sleep 3 or 4 to a tent. We are not able to accommodate extra tents.

Guest access
You will have exclusive access of the 4 acre glamping area in the trees and access into the meadow in front. The space is very private and only for the use of your group and you will have freedom to explore.
Other things to note
What’s Included...
Bedding and towels - All bedding is included and we provide one towel per guest.
We can provide a cot if required and ask if you could bring your preferred bedding for this. Cushions and blankets provided in abundance!
Hygiene- We provide eco-friendly hand soap, washing up liquid and antibacterial spray. Please use as you wish , we aim to refill them for each guest but let us know if you are running low. We also provide washing up scourers, a brush, dishcloths and tea towels.
Cooking Al Fresco- The outdoor kitchen and bar is set up with everything you should need for up to 12 people; mugs, cafetiere, glasses, plates, bowls, cutlery, utensils, non-stick pans, colander, grater, knives, chopping board etc. Please ask if you’d like to check what else we have. We have some essential basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, oil and some herbs and spices.
Making Fires- Kindling and matches are provided, with a supply of firewood for your first night. More wood is available to buy should you need it. Charcoal is also available to buy. If you would like to arrange enough wood for the duration of your stay please let us know on booking. Only wood purchased at the site can be used.
What you might like to bring...
Camping clothes:
There is no heating in the sleeping tents. But we have lots of options for keeping snug, including the log burner in the rainbow tent, the BBQ/Fire Hut and hot water bottles in the sleeping tents. Please take care when filling these; only use water that is off the boil. You might still want to bring something for the evenings and early mornings round the campfire- warm clothes, hats, an extra blanket if you like.
Mornings are light in the bell tents so you might want to bring an eye mask if you’d like a lie in! If you think singing birds or the baa of a sheep will disturb you, you might want to bring some ear plugs.
Wellies: are useful for walks around the site, and slip on shoes like crocs or similar are handy for going in and out the tents. Please take shoes off in the tent.
A Torch: We aim to reduce light pollution by having a minimally lit site. We have lighting in the kitchen and toilet. We provide lanterns in the tents but around the site you will need a torch.
Food and Drink: Please bring what you’d like to eat and drink over your stay. Cooking is on the 4 gas hobs or on the fire pit or BBQ so consider this is your menu planning (a pre made chilli is always a safe bet!).
You might want to bring some charcoal for the BBQ.
