The Little Secret 8 is a characterful grade II listed building situated in the small Village of Oxenhope in West Yorkshire, 5 minutes from the Historic Picturesque Village of Haworth.
Ideal for couples or small families wishing to visit the Worth Valley, Haworth and the Bronte connections.
Wood fuelled Hot tub (not jacuzzi) & seating area allows relaxation at the end of a busy day, walking, shopping and sight seeing. A quiet area where you can hear the whistle of the steam train in the distance

The space
This 230 year old weavers cottage is nestled off the main road through the charming village of Oxenhope.
This quirky little building is oozing with character, from the little stable door to the recently replaced weavers cottage windows.
Bespoke, hand made kitchen unit provides you with all the amenities you need. The stove style fire ensures cosy evenings are guaranteed.
The kitchen area has a low ceiling.

Set in the heart of the Bronte country, an ideal retreat to explore nearby with the village of Haworth just a 5 minute drive, or short journey on the steam train from Oxenhope train station (2 minute walk from the cottage).
The Pretty village, home to the world famous Bronte Sisters, with a cobbled main high street with many independent shops, cafes, bars, galleries and restaurants and The Bronte Parsonage Museum.
Haworth has a vast array of annual events such as the 1940's and 1960's weekends, Steam Punk weekend, Christmas Torchlight and Christmas Markets.
There are many public footpaths with fabulous walks to explore the breath taking views. The Bronte Way takes you across the Bronte Waterfall Bridge and up the hill to Top Withens, the setting for ‘Wuthering Heights’ with the spectacular views across the moors.
Many movies and TV productions have been filmed in the area such as To Walk Invisible, The Railway Children, Gentleman Jack and many more.
Hebden Bridge is a 15 minute drive from the cottage, home to the National Trust’s Hardcastle Crags, definitely worth a visit to the weekend market with local produce and many cafes, shops and pubs.
The market town of Skipton known as the ‘Gateway to the Yorkshire dales’, can be reached in 30 minutes.
Other Towns such as Ilkley, Harrogate and Otley and the major City of Leeds are all within easy reach.
The Little Secret 8 has Wi-Fi, a smart TV which enables guests to connect to Netflix and other streaming services, games and books to be enjoyed.
The bedroom has a king size bed with Hypnos mattress, additional sleeping facilities are in the lounge on a sofa bed.
The kitchen is a small area with a low ceiling with a fridge and freezer, sink, small microwave/oven, air fryer and single hot plate and a fold out table which can be used to prepare food as well as eat your meals.
