Weather
Torrey is located at 6,800 ft in elevation, so we don’t get the intense heat that other desert town experience. Summer time temperatures range from the mid 80's to low 90's , mostly in the 80's, during the day and mid 50's to mid 60's at night.
Winter temps are mostly in mid 30’s to lower 50’s with a few days in the 20’s. Snow doesn't stay long in Torrey but there is plenty of it on Boulder Mountain.

Where I went to school: Realms of Inquiry
I speak Spanish as well as English. I have traveled all over the world staying in Airbnb's and an endless variety of temporary homes because of this experience I know what guests need for a restful and impactful vacation. I believe in practicing intentional tourism and sustainable practices. I strive to implement promote and educate about these practices in my apartments in Torrey. I have hosted vacation rental homes on and off since 2017. I bought this property in May 2021. I am excited about the sustainable updates and eco conscious improvements I will continue to bring to this property. This is my life's work in progress and I am excited to share it with you. I live on the property with my shy dog Penny. My passions are building and supporting community, connecting with the land; hiking, canyoneering and biking. I work as a Shamanic healer; hosting healing retreats and events at Home in the Heart of Utah. I am available for shamanic healing sessions and facilitating nature based immersions. Please contact me if you are interested in booking a session or hosting an event or retreat of your own. Land Acknowledgment Home in the Heart of Utah land has been the home to many people. I am a direct descendent of Utah Pioneers as well as an immigrants and I am grateful for the privilege of being raised in this region. During that time I rarely heard the traditional names of territories and peoples. Indigenous people and their struggles were talked about as past tense. I honor and acknowledge that we preside on the traditional stolen land of the Hisatsinom (Hopi) Nuu-agha-tuvu-pu (Ute) Nuwuvi (Southern Paiute) peoples past and present. The Wee-noonts, the People Who Lived the Old Ways. We honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it throughout generations. Let this acknowledgement serve as a reminder of our ongoing efforts to recognize, honor, reconcile, and partner with the people whose land and water we benefit and connect with daily.
