A perfect family getaway cottage to relax and recharge body and soul. The neighbourhood is generally very peaceful and the beautiful trees surrounding the property attracts awesome bird life, including the red-bill hornbill and Knysna Turaso (Loerie). The braai area is available for you to use and 1 bag of wood will be supplied. A few games are provided and "boogie" boards are available should anyone wish to use them in the waves.

The space
The 2 bedroom spacious self catering cottage is reasonably private and situated behind the main house. It comprises 2 complete bathrooms, with showers (1 is disabled friendly and 1 en-suite). The open plan kitchen/lounge opens onto the veranda which is ideal to enjoy the warm winter sun or the beautiful summer evenings.

Kenton-on-Sea is situated between two rivers namely, the Kariega River and Boesmansrivier, both rivers flow into the Indian Ocean. It is 120km from Port Elizabeth, 150km from East London and 60km from Grahamstown.

Our beaches are pristine and there are plenty of activities to do:
• The lagoon - suitable for swimming (all ages), canoeing, paddle ski-ing, boating
• Main Beach – swimming and kite-surfing in the Indian ocean
• Middle Beach – lovely rock pools at low tide especially nice for toddlers
• Blue Pool – swimming and snorkeling
• Mermaids Pool - (towards Shelley Bay) - snorkeling
• Shelley Bay – (about 2km from the main beach or 800m from Middle Beach) –
Swimming
• Boesmansrivier Beach about 3km – Swimming, canoeing, boating
• Fishing in the river or sea
• Walking along the various beaches enjoying the views
• Or just building sandcastles and relaxing in the sun.
