Sitting literally on one of the best beaches in East Lothian and with the most amazing views overlooking West Bay and Bass Rock , this 2 bedroom spacious and well appointed beach house is perfect for escaping the stresses of life with your family or friends.
An easy five minute walk to the centre of town with artisan cafes, independent shops and fish restaurants to explore and a minute's walk from the Scottish Seabird Centre and 12th century picturesque harbour.

The space
A spacious and airy beach house, flooded with light even on dull days. Downstairs is a large well appointed kitchen/diner and lounge area, There is a large TV as well as games and books. The cooker has its own coal grill, ideal for cooking steaks and there are plenty of pots and pans and utensils and a dishwasher. Large French windows open up on to the terrace overlooking the beach. On the terrace there is a BBQ and four quirky seats made from milking churns and tractor seats, ideal for drinking a glass on wine on a warm summers evening, watching the fishing boats as they make their way out to sea. An outdoor shower with warm water just off the terrace allows for guests to rinse off the sand before entering the house.

Also downstairs is the family bathroom and the bunk room. The two bunks are large enough to take adults and for children there are plenty of books and games to occupy them in both the lounge and the bunkroom.

Upstairs is a Master bedroom with a king bed and amazing views over the bay as well as an ensuite bathroom with washbasin and toilet.

You access the house from a typical Victorian terrace street, only a minute's walk from the Scottish Seabird Centre and an award winning fish restaurant.

West Bay is a sandy beach with excellent views over Firth of Forth, Craigleth and Bass Rock, Nearby is the North Berwick Golf Club and a putting green. A couple of minutes walk takes you to the 12th Century picturesque harbour where you can book boat trips out to the seabird sanctuary on Bass Rock as or treat yourself to a fresh fish lunch from the seafood van. The beach is accessed though a shared gate from the veranda at the back of the house. and is perfect for families, with plenty of safe paddling opportunities for little ones.

West Bay is a sandy beach five minutes from the centre of town. It is perfect for paddling, water sports and fishing and close to the beach is North Bewrick Golf Club and a putting green. At the eastern end of the beach is the picturesque harbour where you can book fishing trips and boat trips to the seabird sanctuary on Bass Rock as well as enjoy ready to eat fresh fish from the mobile vans.
The town itself has plenty of artisan cafes, restaurants and both independent and well known high street shops.
A regular train runs to and from Edinburgh to nearby North Berwick Station.
