Completely remodeled in January of 2018 with a very "Beachy~Paris" look. Okay there's no beach in Paris, but if you combine the Siesta Key look &Paris...
Very quiet neighborhood. No motorcycle or Ferrari noise! Just owls & birds.
This is a special 2-bedroom setup that shares a good-sized bathroom with double sinks. It's optimal for people with quiet 'grown' children or two couples that don't mind sharing a bathroom.

Smoking is prohibited on property-$500 fine. Noise & parties not welcome.

Both bedrooms have ability to make their space cooler like a hotel room. There is WiFi, a small fridge with freezer area, microwave, flat screen TV with Amazon Prime free movies if you have an account , and Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods, iron & ironing board. Bathroom is private to the two bedrooms only.

You can’t miss the Muscovy ducks that have made our neighborhood their home. They go for walks on the street and they don’t quack but softly hiss. Please do not feed them as they have become quite the nuisance to many of the neighbors.

Other things to note

We have beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler if you want to spend time exploring our town. ($25 fee for each item above not returned)

Private separate entrance with off street parking and access without interaction with host. There is another 1 bedroom/1bath Airbnb on this property that is across the hallway but it is locked off from using the hallway and has its own private entrance. This space has a nice tropical view from the sliding glass doors and a paver stone entrance. There is seating outside your door under a shady, tropical canopy that is shared with an adjacent room.

We are allergy free. We do not have dogs or cats and we have a new professional cleaning crew come in and clean the room after each guest. Oh, and did we say that this is a very quiet neighborhood?!

Other things to note
IMPORTANT- the house is on the corner of 2 streets and there are 2 driveways. The owners’ driveway is on Spring Creek Dr-which happens to be the driveway closest to the units- your parking is on Old Oak Dr and there are signs marked “Flamingo” and “Dolphin”. Park in the driveway and walk around to get to your unit.

The beach is 3.5 miles from the house. If you don't have a car, you can take the bus by walking 0.3 miles to Siesta Dr & San Remo bus stop and board the SCAT 33 bus Westbound to either the Ocean Blvd & Calle Miramar (by Beach Access 5), this is a 19 minute ride, or take the bus to the big public beach at Beach Rd & Beach Way Dr., which is a 22 minute ride. You can also rent bikes in the Village of Siesta Key at Robin Hood Rentals, or Opua Adventures-on Siesta Key Dr that is close to the house.

Neighbourhood highlights

Quiet. Quiet. Quiet. Peaceful. Lush tropical jungle across the street and a large pond in back. We love this neighborhood because it’s quiet, safe and has respectful and attentive neighbors. It is a great area for walking and is only a quarter of a mile to the north bridge of Siesta Key and 3 miles to the beach. The house is only 1 mile to some great restaurants in Southside Village and is only a few blocks from Publix grocery store, pizzeria, CVS, and bike store. The Sarasota airport is only 15 minutes away (approximately a$20 Uber), and downtown Sarasota is only a 5 minute drive and the famous St Armand’s Circle is only a 10 minute drive.

My husband Scott and I love, love, love to travel. We enjoy people, adventure and creating memories with our family and friends . We both recently retired from healthcare and have decided that Sarasota is a lot more fun in the winter than Buffalo, NY! We have vacationed in Siesta Key for the last 20 years with our 3 children and now that we are basically empty nesters, we have decided to have a permanent presence here and play with friends who have done the same!
