About this listing
This listing is for a loft style flat in central London - Zone 1.
Closest tube station is Southwark (Jubilee line) -3 min walk.
The flat is spacious and light with one large semi- open space and a separate bedroom. The flat is 2 bedroom, however the part of the wall was removed between second bedroom and lounge.
The Bedroom is facing east with views towards Shard -tallest building in London. There is a double bed with a foam mattress and quality pillows and blackout blinds for a sound sleep. The room is simply furnished and free of clutter.
The other bedroom is facing west and is conjoined with a living / kitchen area to maximize the space and light. The current layout would suit 2 people sharing the bedroom, however there is enough space to accommodate more people using the sofa in the 2nd room. I also have room screens to create your own layout.
The flat has a balcony with fantastic city views. Wooden floors throughout.
Wireless internet, TV.
You can get a daily, weekly or monthly membership at the local gym - Bankside Gym.
I also let out a room within the apartment when I am there, so please see my other listing if you are looking for just one room.
Please note the flat is on 4th floor and there is no lift.
Please ask if you have any additional questions
Interaction with guests
Most of the times I am around and happy to interact. I arrange with guest before I drop by to water plants and collect some of my items if I urgently need to do so. If I am out of London guest can contact me by phone/email.
Fantastic Location. Abundance of cultural venues nearby: Tate Modern, Southbank center, Cinemas - British film institute, Curzon Mondrian. Theater -Old and Young Vic, Globe, National theater. independent bookshops, food markets, Borough market. Coffee shops (Monmouth is my favorite). The Table on Southwark Street for fantastic breakfast. Albion and Carluccios, Pauls, Leon, Crush and many other places to eat.
For evening -Union Cafe on Great Suffolk Street, Anchor and Hope on the Cut, Brindisa in London Bridge, etc...
I can give you more tips where to go and what to see if you need.
Closest tube Southwark, 5-10 walk to Waterloo and London Bridge that also have train stations along with Underground service. Blackfriars Train station with link to Gatwick and Luton is also around the corner.
