If you are looking for a beautiful self contained apartment at Murren with a lovely view over the valley, this could well be it. I've read elsewhere that another who stayed was unimpressed with the Cable car pylon that is directly in front of the apartment. In my experience this …

Thanks for the great review! I'm delighted that Traümli matched your high expectations, as a place to spend a few days relaxing, exercising and working! The alps have benefited from lots of snow in recent weeks, and it was great to see you arrive during a snow fall with a huge smile on your face. Perfect!

The apartment is clean, compact, with a nice kitchen and large bedroom. There’s a large tram tower 60 meters directly in front of the house that isn’t shown in the photos. It doesn’t block the view, but it is right in the middle of the view. If you're planning a winter stay, you'…

Hopefully the following will help future guests decide whether this is the place for them This guest chose our apartment as she wanted 'a white Christmas'. Much to our delight Switzerland had loads of snow, and all the roads and paths are covered. A snow clearer manages our access daily, but of course sturdy footwear is essential in winter. Our guest arrived with a 7' tree, a trailer of groceries and suitcases, asked for a free night, 12 towels for 2 people...a hotel booking would have suited better. The listing mentions the access steps and also the proximity to the cable car - you can see a open-metal pylon (not a solid tower) from the lounge but it does not block the view. The photos are genuine! House Rules are typical of rentals in this village, where guests are not required to clean but are asked to tidy up and remove all rubbish on departure. My future guests can expect a spotless apartment on arrival. Past guests have been happy to respect this, our family holiday home.

Definitely would stay here again. Sue was a great host and the place has an amazing view. It is in a quiet part of murren but still close to transportation. So lucky we found this place.
