Thank you for such an amazing stay, we stayed for 9nights, really wanting a relax and cultural experience. I gave 5* for everything becasue 1. We was looked after so well , the room was huge! Cleanest we have seen with close to no bugs! 2. We used the kitchen many times and it was cleaned (even if I thought it was sparkling before) before we entered everytime! 3. The location is peaceful, quiet and you can walk on lovely enchanting coastal (lakeside) paths all the way to near by towns and places 4.the wonderful lady who looked after us sorted out bike rentals for a really small fee, gave us massive papayas and fed us on rice just to try one night 5. Perfect view of both volcanoes and Toby the dog is lovely!

We had a great stay on the lake! We even stayed two more days then planned. The ladies were always very helpful and will Make you a delicious breakfast if you ask. It is pretty far from town so you will to rent a bike which we did. So peaceful and relaxing, would recommend to anyone who would like some peace and quiet!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. During breakfast you have a great view of the lake and can enjoy the calm surrounding. The only thing that is a little bit dificult is the road leading to the hotel. You might want to get a good 4x4 cab. Thank you for the nice stay on Ometepe.

Staying at the guesthouse was a special experience! Keep in mind: It is really basic, far from the 'action' but we liked it! The room is big and clean as well as the bathroom which has a shower and some shelfs to put your stuff. Christian wasn't there. But Maria and her daughter Paola, who welcomed us, were really, really nice. Though they didn't speak English (Paola knows a bit) and our Spanish is not the best either it took some time to communicate but it worked. Maria is a great cook. We had dinner there twice and it was really good! For tour booking and getting around they called Christian and he managed everything for us via phone. We also could use the internet every now and then (it didn't work all the time). However since the place is a bit secluded, getting there took some time taking a paved road and an unpaved one. We took a tuctuc for 200 cord from Moyogalpa. But it is also possible to rent scooters. There is a small pulpiteria (a kiosk) where you can buy water, snacks and toiletries. We can totally recommend this place for people who don't need much to be happy. This place has everything you need when travelling to Ometepe and doing outdoor activities.

It's hard for me to put in words how welcoming and amazing Christian and Hjalmar are. The house is on a small papaya lake front and the room and bath are perfect. The area is magic, fireflies calm farm vibes and really authentic Niciraguan experience. I think you need to stay here at least once in your life. Our experience was perfect, cooffee was included and we paid a little more for a delicious fish dinner.
