A truly fantastic house and so carefully looked after. We were greeted with a wonderful welcome package which included home grown oranges and lemons, the above is full of character and immaculate with crisp linen, beautiful courtyard garden and only a short stroll into the buzz o…

Thank you for your kind words. I wish the weather had been more typical of Tucson, and that we hadn't needed to put frost cloths on the hibiscus and bougainvillea. You all were unfazed by the cloudy and cold, and were great sports!

The Bakery is a wonderful place to stay in Tucson! Walking distance from myriad eateries and drinking establishments, shopping and entertainment, but itself a fine place to just hang out. Nancy had a bottle of wine awaiting us and ensured we knew how everything worked and the bes…

Thank you! It was delightful meeting you and Janell, and showing you the Secret Garden. When you told me you were coming to town to participate in the All Soul's Procession, I knew the Bakery would be a perfect fit for you. And having Comic Con 4 blocks away at the convention center on top the weekend de los muertos would not be too much 'Tucson weirdness' for you. Just a nice mixture of sugar skulls and fantasy heros wandering around. And a big thank you for noticing and fixing the fountain. I forgot to turn on the autofill timer, and the pump might have burned out without your thoughtfulness. I look forward to having you stay at the Bakery again.

The Bakery was the perfect place to enjoy Tuscon. It is clean, comfortable, well decorated, and so close to downtown. Nancy made the process very easy and her communication was excellent. We actually looked forward to returning there each day to relax and "hang out" after exp…

Thank you so much. It was unseasonably hot last week, so you got to enjoy the true advantage of adobe walls. They are a pain in a lot of ways, but really are perfect for the desert. And thank you for being such a self sufficient crew there while I was out of the country, and my co host was dealing with his missing phone. (These days a missing phone is almost like a missing brain! )

Thanks Laura. You are welcome back any time. It was fun meeting you. I loved your sense of humor about the large panel truck which was mysteriously parked on 15th street when I came over.

This place was great. We really appreciated the extras - cleaning supplies, iron and ironing board. There were plenty of extra towels. We used the washer and dryer to do several loads of laundry getting our daughters set up for move in day at U of A. It was really helpful to …

I wish I had gotten to meet you all, but Eric said you were all great guests. It sounded like such fun to have two moms and their daughters sharing this big move. I hope to meet you next time you come. (hint: come between Nov-Mar. I know you had to be here in August, but it isn't our best month! ) I'm glad you were able to make use of the ironing board. I used to just have a little tabletop one, and then I tried to iron some pillowcases (no, I don't usually iron the bed linens. I know people who do, however!!) and discovered it was worthless. I brought my ironing board over and then rewarded myself with one of those extra wide ones for my home. Win-win!

I've lived in Tucson most of my life and love it. My husband and I traveled a lot, and found that we liked exploring older, eclectic neighborhoods. The less 'planned,' the better. We especially loved buildings that had been re-purposed from commercial/industrial to residential. …
