In the village, you can visit the Porto Moniz Natural Pools, one of the biggest tourist attractions on the island. The Natural Pools have a great attraction due to having been formed by volcanoes in eruption and composed of Salt Water.
In the village you can visit: The Porto Moniz Aquarium which has a beautiful history, where our ancestors were protected against pirate attacks and rebuilt this place, transforming it into a beautiful aquarium, with very rare species.
You can also visit the Museum "Centro Ciência Viva" where you will discover a lot about our mountains and mountains, you will also explore the species existing in "Laurisilva", which is by itself the most beautiful and known mountain in Madeira.
