About this listing
Sun filled room and private bath in beautiful pool complex less than a mile from the beach! Daily breakfast with mimosas included in your stay.
Your private guest room is located on the ground floor of a small condo building. It has nice closet space and a very comfortable queen size bed. There is a large flat screen TV and a DVD player but no cable connection. Basic stations are available. And I have a large selection of DVDs in the house though.
There is parking for one guest vehicle on the grounds.
This room is part of my apartment and does not have a separate entrance
The bathroom is not en suite but across the hallway. It is not shared with anyone else.
I only rent out when I am around so I will be home and have keys for you.
Interaction with guests
I am home and work from the apartment sometimes so I am around to give travel and local tips during your stay.
I sometimes bring my cat with me but he is very shy and tends to stay in my bedroom. Just mentioning this in case people have allergies.
Other things to note
The building is located less than a mile from the beach. It is a condo building with many units and a shared pool. Guests are expected to be very respectful at the pool and in the common areas, especially to our neighbors.
The apartment is shared while I am around so I expect guests t be respectful and clean up after themselves when around. Check in is usually around 2 PM and checkout before 11 but I can be a bit flexible spending on the needs and schedule.
The use of the kitchen is not included in the stay, but guests can leave some drinks in the fridge.

I am originally from Germany but have lived in New York for over 20 years now. I am an interior designer with my own business.
I love animals, gardening and also cars. Since I moved to Brooklyn in 2012 I have been adopted by my cat Basil. One of the biggest perks about living in Brooklyn is having my very own garage....
