FAQ's

1. What should I bring on my glamping trip?
- Drinking water (also used to fill coffee maker)
- Extra coffee, hot coco, or tea pods
- Campfire wood if using the firepit (or you can buy ours and have it delivered to your doorstep.)
- BBQ charcoal & utensils if using the grill
- Disposable cups, plates utensils
- Wet wipes are helpful for hands
- Feed your goat friends: baby carrots and/or string beans
- Hairy bull friend: whole apples in a plastic bag (used to shake and call him over)
- Your own bath towels, beach towels, and bathroom supplies
- Whatever you need to "camp out" comfortably
- If you plan on doing "Chores N' Tour with Shelley and feeding all the farm animals, bring closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or boots. No flip-flops or sandals are allowed for animal experiences.

2. Can I walk around the ranch, unattended? Remember that we are a small ranch, and while 1/2 of our property is open, the other 1/2 is our animal rescue pastures.

3. Can I access all the animals? The mini-cabin backs up to a cattle pasture with "Herbie" the Scottish Highland to enjoy from the back windows. Throw him apples over the fence or enjoy watching him peacefully graze in the pasture. As for the goats, bring the green beans and baby carrots! To access the animal rescue part of the ranch, book Chores N' Tour, an hour-long experience feeding, watering, learning the history, and touring the entire ranch.

4. What other ranch rentals are there? The ranch has a barndominium, a tiny house, two bell tent yurts, other mini-cabins, and an entire Old West-themed village. YES! You can have friends and family RENT other units and make this a group experience. You can also see all of our listings if you click our name (logo.)

5. What's the history of the ranch? The property was a horse rescue for two decades. Some students take horse lessons here and the public books educational activities. The ranch also produces a small amount of alpaca fiber and sheep wool that's sold yearly.

6. Can friends and family visit me while I'm at the ranch? No. The only people permitted to enter the property are registered guests. The public cannot access the ranch, and we have a coded entrance gate. As a guest, you can expect to see other guests here, not people walking in off the street.

7. Can I catch a UBER or LYFT? Yes! You can easily catch a ride to Ocean City, Maryland, or beyond. You must be picked up at the entrance gate, not at the cabins. How about food delivery? Yes! Order Doordash or pizza delivery. Just plan to meet your driver at the entrance gate, not the cabins.

8. Is there an option for early check-ins and late check-outs? No. Because this property has multiple rentals, we do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. All cleans are performed on time, and this keeps us on schedule for the next guest.

9. Can I bring my pet or service animals? No. We do not allow any guest animals or pets to stay with us due to regulations and safety issues. We are also service animal exempt due to safety issues with nearby guardian livestock.

10. What is the smoking/ vaping policy? We operate a strict no-smoking, no marijuana smoking, no-vaping policy at all times inside our rentals. The best place to smoke is by walking down the driveway or inside your car (away from the cabins and horse stable.)

11. How secure is the ranch? The cabin has a Ring doorbell, and the property has six outdoor security cameras running and in use at all times. These outdoor security cameras help protect humans and animals alike. There's a coded entrance gate upon your arrival to the ranch and there is on-site management that is available during your stay. You cannot enter the property without your temporary gate code and we ask that you do not give it out while you're here.

12. This mini-cabin sleeps two (2) guests *including* babies & children. We do not accommodate more than two (2) guests max due to fire code.

13. What are the checkout procedures? We have a 4-step checkout process and ask that our guests leave the cabin the way they found it, (neat and tidy.) We love to brag about super clean guests who leave the space well cared for!

14. What are the bathroom details? Our year-round "saloon-themed" SHARED bathhouse is just 10 steps away and has two full-sized bathrooms equipped with a handwashing sink, flushing toilet, and an inside hot/ cold shower. Be sure to bring all your bath towels and bathroom supplies for camping out. Remember the bathhouse is a shared space, and we appreciate you helping to keep it clean and tidy while you're here. We also have two outdoor hot/ cold showers, which are perfect after a long day at the beach.

15. Does the cabin have WIFI? Yes! The WIFI is mainly used for streaming on the smart TV (not remote work)
