Located in the heart of downtown Charleston, The Augusta House will be sure to capture your attention with the charming updates to a true Charleston style home nestled within the perfect location. The Augusta House has six different units each offering private (keyless) entrances, two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, and living room all recently remodeled and updated in 2021. Plenty of off street parking makes your Charleston experience seamless.

The space
The updates include new hardwood floors throughout the space, Quartz countertops and tile backsplash in the kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, all completely finished with each area decorated professionally by a local interior designer.

This specific unit (E), Redbud, located on the first floor of the home, has two queen beds, closets in each bedroom, one bathroom with a shower (no tub), a kitchen, and a cozy living room. There is also a full sized washer and dryer for guests to use.

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker and coffee, stove top and oven, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, and basic cutlery.

Guest access
Onsite parking is available for guests. Parking is located on the right side of the house when looking at the house from the street in labeled spots only. Further instructions for parking will be sent one day of check in.

Other things to note
Wifi is available for guests to use during their stay. Instructions for wifi will be sent at check in.

The property is cleaned by a professional cleaning company that follows CDC cleaning guidelines.

Due to the property’s downtown location, city noises (traffic, construction, neighbors, street noise, emergency vehicles, etc.) may be heard.

The house is located in a central but easily accessible location with quick access to the Charleston International Airport, Mount Pleasant, James Island, and all the beaches. Depending on traffic, Folly beach is a 15 minute drive and Sullivan’s Island is roughly 20 minutes from the house. If you plan on going to the beach, we do recommend bringing your own beach chairs and towels if possible as we do not provide those items.

Ways to explore Charleston and the surrounding areas include Uber, Lyft, Pedicab (bicycle taxi), and/or walking. The house is located within a 10-15 minute walking distance from the Upper King area while we suggest having some mode of transportation to the historic part of Downtown.

The Augusta House is the perfect getaway for bachelor(ette) groups, friends, family, couples weekends, or even just a quick trip to the beach. With easy access to the beaches and the perfect distance to delicious restaurants and nightlife, the Augusta House has you covered.

We do not provide an air mattress therefore we would suggest bringing one with you if needed.

This unit is pet friendly with a $75 pet fee. We allow a maximum of 2 pets (cats and dogs) per reservation. The pet fee is not per pet.

Check In Information: After booking, a day before your arrival, you will receive the address and basic reminders about check in time and parking. Check in time is 4pm and at check in you will receive the keyless entry code, specific parking information, wifi username and password, as well as keypad instructions.

Check Out Information: Check out time is 11am. Our dedicated housekeeping team will take care of all aspects of cleaning the house including linens. We do ask that upon your departure that you ensure you take all belongings with you and lock the door.

The exterior of this property is monitored by video surveillance. Outdoor cameras are located at the entrance of each unit's front door, the parking area, and back walk way. The cameras are motion activated and record audio and visual.

Cancellation policy: We do adhere to our cancellation policy. Please review before booking. We encourage our guests who book to purchase their own travelers insurance in case they need to make a cancellation.
-Hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th. We follow a strict cancellation policy and do not issue refunds unless The National Weather Service or local government authorities order mandatory evacuations. Additionally, South Carolina weather can be unpredictable in the summer; in the event of loss of power and/or internet, or any other "out of our control" situation due to local storms, we will not grant refunds.
