Welcome to our mountain home!

Enjoy a getaway at our mountain home, with 3 bedrooms, and 6 beds, it comfortably sleeps 8 guests. Located in the amenity rich Tahoe Donner housing development, situated in the picturesque Sierra Nevada Mountains, the area offers endless year-round activities. 

The space
Our home is clean, comfortable, well cared for, and ready for your stay! The open concept living area on the upstairs floor features vaulted pine ceilings and large windows with a view of our deck and surrounding trees on the property. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the basics needed to cook during your stay. Supplies of coffee, tea, and spices are also provided to make you feel most at home.

The family room has a smart TV with access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, etc. (with the use of your personal account). A variety of board games are also available for use during your stay. The deck is south-facing and sits under beautiful tall evergreens, a perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, barbecue, or relax in the sun. The half bath on the second floor also has a full-size washer and dryer available for your use. To complete the upstairs you will find a king-sized bed in the primary bedroom alongside the spacious ensuite bathroom. 

Downstairs you will find the queen bedroom and the bunk room, perfect for kids! The bunk room also has a TV with cable capabilities. The second full bathroom is also located downstairs. All of the bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in addition to small toiletries should you forget your own. In addition with supply guests with beach towels for the lake. All three bedrooms have dressers, closets, and hangers to store your belongings in. 

Lastly, one side of the garage is available for you to park in. We also have two inflatable paddle boards and two kayaks that you are free to use at your own risk. We also provide paddles, life jackets, and a pump. We do not supply a rack to transport the kayaks, so plan accordingly if you want to use them.

The home is located in the Tahoe Donner housing development, a recreational paradise with a plethora of amenities and activities at your disposal. With our resident passes, you will be able to access the private beach at Donner Lake (Beach Club Marina), Trout Creek Recreational Center, Tennis Center, Northwood Clubhouse, and Snowplay. You will have access to all of these amenities for $20 per day, per person. In addition, the neighborhood has over 60 miles of trails for hiking, biking, and riding. Our home is also minutes away from many dining options within Tahoe Donner, the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort, the XC ski center, the Equestrian Center, the driving range, and two public golf courses (Tahoe Donner Golf Course and Coyote Moon).

Other amenities include free WIFI and a landline (for emergency use since the cell service can be spotty depending on the carrier). 

There is parking for up to four cars (one in the garage and three on the driveway). 

While the house does not have air conditioning, it is rarely needed, and by turning on the ceiling fans and opening the windows, the cool mountain air will do the trick!

Some of our favorite memories have been those spent at Airbnbs while traveling internationally and within the United States. As Bay Area natives who have called Reno home for the past 10 years, we have spent many days paddle boarding on Donner Lake, boating on Lake Tahoe, and skiing at various resorts nearby. We strive to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay at our mountain home, located, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful spots in the country!
