This apartment , inside, only has side sea views from the balcony. However once outside the apartment, the front door is on the Sliema Promenade with its beautiful panoramic views across the bay to St Julians, the major hotels and the Casino. The Exiles Lido offers sunbeds and umbrellas at a minimal cost and one can swim in the beautifully clear water off the rocks just outside the apartment. Or you can stroll along the Promenade of an evening or morning and enjoy the cafes and restaurants along the Sliema Front from St Julians to the Ferries and beyond to the Yacht Marina. In spring, autumn and winter months one can enjoy sitting on a bench on the Promenade or down below in the Independence Gardens enjoying the warmth of the beautiful sunshine or in the summer months sunbathing or swimming off the rocks below by the seaside.
This large (180sq m) bright and airy 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment is furnished throughout in European beech with luxurious fixtures and fittings. An additional folding single bed is also available for children as well as a full size automatic inflation queen bed. Soft furnishings are insulated with thermal blockout. The large main bathroom has a bath with hand shower plus a separate shower enclosed in its own cubicle; combined lighting, powerful heating and extraction fan equipment; washer and dryer facilities and heated towel rails.
The open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room is serviced with a powerful reverse cycle airconditioner that cools the whole apartment. An additional dehumidifier regulates the temperatures constantly. It is equipped with all facilities, TV, DVD, stereo system and free WiFi. The gourmet kitchen has granite counter tops and all modern amenities and appliances. It is fully equipped for entertaining. A balcony runs along the lounge room and bedroom providing only side sea views and ventilation.
This is a home away from home for our guests and we hope they will feel that way about the accommodation. The inventory has been carefully thought out to provide all necessaries to make life as comfortable and as close to 'home' as possible. All the amenities are available for their use.
Interaction with guests
On arrival into Malta we can organise a taxi to meet our guests at the airport and bring them to the apartment. Upon arrival at the apartment, our guests will be met personally and shown around, instructed re use of appliances and informed of all the amenities in the vicinity. I and my sisters are always available in case the guests have any queries during their stay to ensure all is to their satisfaction and to answer any questions they might have re sightseeing, tours, car hire and any other facilities they require. A great holiday for them is our prime concern.
Other things to note
Please be considerate in your use of water and electricity. There is a 67% surcharge charged on water and electricity consumption which has not been passed on to you as tenants. Other apartment owners charge in excess for water and electricity, we do not. Therefore please do not leave any lights on unnecessarily. Kindly make sure all airconditioners, all appliances and all lighting is turned off before you go out. Your attention to this is greatly appreciated.
Please leave the apartment in a clean condition before you vacate.
In the case of monthly rentals, electricity will be charged at Euro0.16 cents per unit. Water and all rates and tax is included in the price. WiFi internet is free.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the whole of Level 5. That includes inside the apartment, outside on balconies or the common areas of the apartment block. It presents a health and fire hazard. Guests are invited to go to the Promenade outside if they wish to smoke.
These are residential apartments and excessive noise is very inconsiderate. Guests are kindly requested to keep volume to a minimum so as not to disturb the neighbours.
Pets though loved are not allowed.
I am a mature lady who is very outgoing. I enjoy meeting people and hosting them. I am available to help as much as possible to make sure my guests have a wonderful experience in Malta. I have travelled extensively and enjoy people of diverse cultures. I currently live in Western Australia though I spend a lot of time visiting Malta.
