We are a small and exclusive luxury camp site on the Fanad Peninsular, in County Donegal, Ireland.
We have five yurts which are available to the public from April to October.;
Stunning views of Lough Swilly and Knockalla mountain.

The space

Our 18 acre site is on the Fanad Peninsula in Co Donegal. We have five yurts which are available to guests from April to October. Fabulous coastal and mountain views and great opportunities for walking and exploring.

Guest access

Guests will have their own yurt with lockable front door, king size bed (with bedding), double sofa bed, wood burning stove. Each yurt has a little firepit area. 24 hour access to toilet/ shower block with hot showers, hairdryers, shaving points and sink areas with mirrors. Daily access to self catering kitchens from 7am to 11pm with electric ovens, gas hobs, fridge freezer, all pots/pans/cutlery etc and dining area. Also a small lounge area with wood burning stove and library. This room has free wifi and lockable cabinets with electric points for charging equipment.

Interaction with guests

The owners Helen and Sean live in a farmhouse on the site. They will be available to meet and greet you and for specific office hours daily. Outside these hours they are available in an emergency.

Other things to note

We operate a quiet site for the comfort of all guests and our neighbours with particular quiet time between 11pm and 9am. Our yurts are very comfortable but guests must still be aware that they are staying in a 'camping' setting so will have to walk to toilets at night and may hear wind/rain outside their yurt at night.

Staying in the yurt was excellent! It was even better than the photos! Helen and her husband were really welcoming and helpful! When we said we were doing a day trip across to Glenroe, they helped us with directions and gave us a map! The facilities are great too! would highly recommend to anyone visiting Donegal!

Loved the yurt and the setting the hosts could not have been nicer and generously helped us out with some supplies when we arrived late. Great place

fantastic place to stay. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Beautiful views and ideal location for wild Atlantic way trip. Stove within the yurt is fantastic and creates a lovely atmosphere when staying there.

Our stay at the yurts was fantastic with really helpful hosts too. The actual yurts were great - rustic enough to feel away from civilisation but with enough luxuries (double bed, wood stove) to be more comfortable and cosy than camping! There are clean toilets and showers, running off their own well, and a lovely shared space for cooking, relaxing, wifi and phone charging. Our only disappointment was that we had only booked for one night!
