Description

The space

My 60m2 apartment was decorated and furnished to make me and you feel at home:) A nice roomy living room, a cozy bedroom, a well equipped kitchen, and a nice bathroom will help you feel just like that.
Situated a street from the banks of the Danube on the third floor of a beautiful historical building (Béla Bartók the famous composer used to live here) the location of the apartment is ideal if you are planing to explore the city. Right across the Parliament 5 minutes walk from the Chain Bridge and the Castle and 100m from the metro, a place where you can enjoy the best location while maintaining peaceful nights. Go for a nice afternoon walk along the Danube, visit the Chain Bridge, the

Just around the corner you’ll also find cafes and pubs with nice atmosphere, a market place and a traditional hungarian restaurant and one of the best vegan restaurants in the city.

Interaction with guests

The apartment is for your sole occupancy. I think the best part in renting my apartment is that I get the chance to meet new people:) So I always meet my guests to show them the apartment hand over the keys and explain all they need to know about the apartment the neighborhood. As a frequent traveler I always love to get a few tips from a local on the best way to explore the city, so I try to do just that with my own guests. If I have the time I also like to meet you at the airport and drive you door to door. After check in I'm always available via e-mail and on the phone. I'm pretty flexible with check out too. If I have time I always like to say good bye to my guests and to find out how they enjoyed their stay in Budapest and in the apartment. I think getting feedback from my guests is the best way to make my apartment even better and more comfortable:)

The neighbourhood

The Castle Quarter is one of the oldest, most beautiful, yet very peaceful parts of Budapest. You'll bump into beautiful buildings like the first reformed church of Buda right in front of the apartment on almost every corner. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops in the area too.

Getting around

The closest metro station is about 3 minutes away. The closest bus and tram stops are even closer.

Other things to note

If you are arriving by car the good news is that parking on the street infront of the apartment and in a street near by is free of charge all week and it is usually no problem to find a parking space in these streets.

House Rules
No smoking

I don't believe in strict rules, instead I build on trust and mutual respect. So what I ask from my guests is to take care of the apartment like if it was their own and respect the neighbors.

The place is very central. We had a difficult time finding parking but I guess that's true for most of Budapest. All mayor sights are within easy reach and Zsombor has wonderful maps with his favorite places. The place was nice and clean. Everything you need for a city trip. Thank you for having us!

Excellent experience! Zsombor is a great host and his house is clean and has an excellent location. We walked to downtown Budapest with no issue in 15 minutes. The house is located right across from a beautiful church and the building is very quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed. The shower had great pressure and the bed was comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to stay affordably but not to far from the city center.

Hello Everyone:)
My name is Zsombor. I'm an enthusiastic traveler who loves to explore new places around the world. For me meeting new people and having a chance to get to know them a bit is the most exiting part of traveling. While I'm at home I really enjoy meeting the travelers coming to my city. I got a lot of help from the people I met around the world, I believe it is much easier to start exploring a new place with some info from a local. So I try to provide just that to the people I host before they start their adventure in my beautiful city.
Meeting new people and taking the time to listen to who they really are is also part of my work, since I'm working as a Cranio Sacral Therapist at the moment.
I also love sports especially tennis and windsurfing and love to practice foreign languages and read . I'm enthusiastically studying Spanish at the moment:)
I strongly believe that sharing is the best way to practice love and to make this world a better place:)
Hope to see you around the world!
