We arrived at 5.00 in the morning, with the host's full knowledge we would come at that time -indeed we had agreed to pay for that full night's accommodation in advance and were told a housekeeper would greet us on arrival. There was no one there to meet us. We had to wait over an hour whilst the apartment was "cleaned". In general, the apartment was dirty,sparsely furnished and ill-equipped. Despite the last minute cleaning, windows and curtains were filthy. The light and power switches were filthy.The bedsheets were stained.The waste bins were filthy. The kitchen surfaces were dirty, and the kitchen was completely underequipped for food preparation and eating a meal. There were no dinner plates! Very sparse cutlery, virtually no kitchenware- no way one could or would prepare and eat food here!There were no towels provided!! We couldn't leave fast enough!

Dear Ma'am, Since you did not receive the towels at 5AM checkin, I am told by my housekeeping guy that he had informed you that you would be getting the towels in the morning as all the towels were given to the laundry.. Anyways our checkin time is 13:00 hrs.. If there were no towels, we would have nyway not charged you for the previous night. Regarding everything else looking filthy and dirty, if something was by chance dirty, then the housekeeping guy was there at your disposal who would have got it cleaned as per your directions. Regarding the curtains, they were not dirty but that is the colour of the curtains. it is Light ash brownish. The stained bedsheet could have been very well replaced. You never gave me a opportunity to set things right for you if in case things were not right. You had my no, I could have definitely come out with some or the other solution. Regarding the check in, you had my number you could as well co-ordinated with me or let me known as soon as you reach the airport, my housekeeping guy can't wait for you 24 hours over there waiting for you to checkin, I suppose he was there within 10 mins of after I was informed after you reached there. I suppose you are a guest who is looking for a 5 star and you booked the wrong place my friend. The apartment in a 3 star resort is very well worth the price you are paying for. Anyways all your suggestions are most welcome and I would definitely try and improvise. But then I can make the apartment to a very high standard but then would the guest be willing to pay more? Anyways, since this was your personal mail and i appreciate it that you did not post a bad review.. Dont worry.. we have a long term relation. I have noted your expectations and the next time you come during a similar period, I will give you a complimentary stay for the equivalent no. of nights that you booked for in any or some of our place as per your expectations. I will try and meet your expectations the next time and dont worry.. be my guest. please come and stay for the equivalent no of nights.. or if not you.. may be you can send someone to utilize your free room nights. I am very flexible. Just for my knowledge ... could you please tell me as which place you stayed instead.. and were you fully satisfied over there? sorry for asking.. just so that I can improvise the place as per your expectations for any future bookings of ours.
