Where you’ll be

Ålbæk, Denmark

Aalbaek village is a charming place. With the best beaches (kids friendly) in the Skagen region. Its small picturesque habour hosts small fishing boats bringing the bounty of the sea to dockside daily (go early to get your supper!). Its small, but well stocked grocery store, butcher shops and fish monger will ensure you have what you need for your seaside break.

Born in Aalbæk (across the road from this house). This house was build by my godparents in 1962, a local lad and a wonderful irish rose. They put their souls into the house and I am honoured to have been able to give it a new life since buying it in 2014 together with the neighbouring property (now the park). I have completely renovated it, combining ideas from other seaside towns I love into the design execution - global ideas with classic mid-century Danish design, clean lines and bright rooms providing the perfect nest for recharging the body and mind.
