We've had a phantastic 3 night stay at Sarahs apartment! First of all Sarah is a very warm and lovely person! Interested but she's also respecting her guests privacy. Furthermore the private pool was absolute great, a beautiful garden and the house is very spacious. It's only about 15 minutes drive to Asheville, but the first evening we've had dinner in Weaverville, also a nice little town. We would definately recommend Sarah's place!

Stayed at Sarah's with our family of 5 while visiting Asheville. The accommodations are an above ground basement apartment in a private home. The rental has windows on 3 sides and lots of natural light. The space is comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The 2 queen beds are very comfortable. The kids had a great time in the pool before and after our sightseeing excursions. Sarah is a welcoming hostess who had fresh cut flowers, fruit, coffee and bread all waiting for us. We also appreciated the nice quality bed linens, towels and bath products. Everything was super clean and there was a convenient laundry room to do a quick load of the kids clothes. Everything exceeded our expectations. An excellent place to stay when visiting Asheville.

My husband and I recently spent a few nights here with our 3yr old. We really enjoyed our stay here. The layout of the space is great, with lots of open area. It had everything we needed and then some - the kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated the washer and dryer. Since it's the lower level of a house, I expected a more basement-y feel, but that wasn't the case. There are lots of windows and two sets of sliding glass doors that let in plenty of light. We took advantage of both patios (one fully covered so we could still enjoy the outdoors in the rain). And family time in the pool after our day trips was the best! The property is really lovely. The view is a bit wooded, with the blue ridge in the background. Lots of lovely flowers and fruit trees/ bushes bring all kinds of wildlife. There was a group of mama turkeys with their babies that would make their way to and fro every morning and evening, jumping up and nibbling blueberries off the bushes. It became our morning and evening routine to look for the turkeys. Our son thrilled at that every day, and even asked if we could get some turkeys for our house. :) The location is really convenient. Weaverville is just a short drive away, and Asheville is not that far, maybe 15 minutes or so. We made a drive to Waynesville to visit family one day, and did a day trip to Max Patch another day. Both were reasonable drives. Sarah is a wonderful host. Warm, but not intrusive. She told us about the turkeys, and when she found out that our son loves blueberries, she and her sister picked some for us a few days during our stay, which was so special. She also took the time to put some kid-sized chairs and a table in the apartment, and even set out some coloring books and crayons for us. It's things like that that go such a long way. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone, and especially for families with littles. I hope we'll have an opportunity to stay here again soon!

Sarah's house is so great that we've been guests not once but twice now! It feels like you're staying at your favorite Aunt's house. Clean, spacious, comfortable, swimming pool, and 15 minutes from downtown Asheville. What more could you ask for?! Oh - maybe fresh picked blueberries, fresh fruit, bread & cheese. We enjoyed a nice nap by the pool after tubing down the French Broad river and had breakfast outside again the next day. Very private and beautiful scenery. Thank you Sarah and Geri! I can't wait to come back for a girls' weekend!

Had a wonderful time at your place while visiting the area. Everything was top notch and easy to operate. You have an idea location for travelers with easy access to highways and grocery as well as some great restaurants. I enjoyed Blue Ridge Pizza the best. Thank you for your knowledge and information on the various sights and activities. I will be back to Asheville either to visit or stay. And I consider your place as the place to be if visiting and Weaverville as the place to move to. I saw and enjoyed some of your delicious strawberries and your bowl of fruit was delicious as well. I will recommend your place to anyone coming here for a visit. Thanks again, Charlie

Sarah was a wonderful, kind and considerate host. We really appreciated her southern hospitality. The views from her house were beautiful since you could see both her flower garden and the mountains in the distance. The living area was spacious and comfortable. The home was easy to get to since it was a just a few miles from the interstate. We will definitely come back here when we visit Asheville again.

Recently retired and enjoying life in Western North Carolina. I particularly enjoy driving around the mountains and try to get lost in them at least once a week.
