From the moment we inquired about staying here Elaine was very responsive and accommodating! The house is older which gives it lots of charm and a timeless feel, though updated to make it very comfortable. The dining room with the long window seat was a great gathering spot for our big family meals. The kitchen had everything we needed. A grocery store was very close. We had a short stay but would have loved to stay longer. Thanks, Elaine!

We had a great visit! Cozy, comfortable and easily accomodated all of us. I would recommend this house to anyone. And will probably stay here again. Very near downtown, yet quiet.

The house was great! It was on a main road but with the yard and trees it was very secluded. We didn't spend much time there as we were at a horse show at Tryon international horse complex .The best part about the house is that there were sinks and every bedroom. The house was very cozy and everyone loved it!

The house is all Elaine said and is the picture of an old southern home in an old southern town.

Retired from the Navy Nurse Corps after 23 years, but still enjoy a lifetime interest in horses and riding - which is what got us to this equine mecca!
I also love old houses, flower gardening, traveling and good times with friends, and it has all come together right here in our little corner of paradise - the triangle of Landrum, Tryon, Columbus. This delightful and charming area prompted my sister to ask, "Where do you live, Mayberry?" To which I responded, "Absolutely, Mayberry on steroids!" Interesting people from all parts of the country, friendly helpful locals, many outdoor activities as well as live theater, a cute local movie house, arts, crafts, antiques, wineries, golf, boating, and equine sports of all kinds. There is a lot of fun crammed into our little corner, and we love it here!
