A spacious home in a peaceful location situated in Adelaide Hills, Mt Barker, 10 mins away from historic Hahndorf. Set at the end of a quite cul-de-sac adjacent a reserve with a winter creek. As you enter through the gated fern-lined portico, you will find and instant calming vibe, which continues through the sizable family home. This quality build encompasses a ginormous open plan living, spacious enough for 3 different living zones, spacious rooms, an abundance of natural light you'd expect.

Whether you just want coffee and a cheese platter or something more substantial, there is a fully equipped kitchen and dining space for your convenience with an induction stove top, oven, microwave, kettle and a toaster.

A private shady backyard is available for a morning coffee and an afternoon wine. The alfresco facing the reserve will provide the setting for a whimsical barbecue night by the frolicking flames of the bonfire.

Guess what? You can make your own pizzas in the brick oven, if you want to have an extra experience.

Large flat screen smart TV with access to Netflix with NBN connection for reliable entertainment. Wind down with family/friends and have some competitive fun with the Pool table.

The dish washer and the washing machine will maximize the amount of time to yourself.

Security cameras (external - entrance, front yard, car parking areas) provides extra security for your stay.

Please note that there are no bathtubs in this house due to it being custom-built. However there are 2.5 bathrooms.

Our spacious living area features a quality pool table, perfect for hours of fun and friendly competition. Whether you're a billiards enthusiast or a beginner, the pool table with cue sticks and chalk will provide endless entertainment.

Guest access
It is a short 30-minute drive up the Freeway from Adelaide and the perfect central base to explore the Adelaide Hills and surrounds has to offer (The Hills, Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Murray River and the Fleurieu Peninsula). The historically rich Hahndorf is just a 10-minute drive.

The bus stop is a short stroll that will take you to the connection bus to Adelaide and other Hills towns including Hahndorf, Stirling etc. Uncovered parking space for 4 vehicles is available.

Keoride is a transportation service similar to Uber rideshare, that operates within Mount barker. Bookings and payments can be done through the Keoride app. Fare is same as bus fare.

Other things to note
No cancellation fee will be charged for last minute cancellations due to the government border closures.

We stock a basic pantry needs for your convenience.

Please note, the property is not suitable for pets and is a non-smoking home. Also refer to our 'visitor policy' in 'policies and rules' section before booking.

The service town of Mount Barker is a short 2 km away and has all the services you may require, including a Wallis cinema. A convenient 5-minute drive from the house, the station at which you board the Steam Ranger heritage train can be found, or you could step outside on a Sunday morning to enjoy this historical train passing by in a flurry of steam (Check availability on website: SteamRanger Heritage Railway). This train has decades of rich history and provides for a fun-filled day travelling from Mount Barker to Victor Harbour.
