Family friendly 4bd 2ba home just a little over a mile from the Iowa state fairgrounds! A few miles from Adventureland and a few miles the other way from all the downtown awesomeness that Des Moines has to offer!

Gather round the big farmhouse dining table and enjoy dinner with a fully stocked kitchen. Chill & enjoy the summer evening on the oversized porch swing. 2 Huge couches. BBQ grill, snacks & complimentary beverages provided. (Including a bottle of wine)

We put a lot of work & love into modernizing this home and making it as functional as it is cozy & cute!

We hope you enjoy your stay and have hopefully taken a lot of the stress out of traveling by staying here. You have allllll the amenities, cooking supplies, (commonly needed condiments provided in fridge, spices in cabinet, pantry items, coffee & tea) toiletries & first aid items (including face wash in the showers, cause I ALWAYS forget that when traveling), & outdoor space to make your trip an easy, carefree one!

Pets are welcome ($100 pet fee, no rodents) however we really prefer them to be crated and not left home alone unattended.

Here you get the lush fluffy towels, (our apt air bnb gets the $4 towels 😜cause lord knows). There’s extra beach/outdoor towels so you don’t have to pack those!

Quality bedding, a Nectar mattress in the master bedroom, memory foam mattress in the Paris themed room. The other upstairs bedroom is an international travel theme has a queen bed and French doors that lead to the backyard. The bedroom downstairs we refer to as the ‘bachelor pad oasis’ and has a full size mattress and PLENTY of floor space for air mattresses if need be.

Basement has a large L shaped sectional couch and a decent amount of wrestling mats (cause duhhh Iowa🤼). Kids can crash on the wrestling mats with sleeping bags and grown ups can have the beds!

There’s extra bedding and a sleeping bag for anyone who wants to sleep on the couches or mats. (Easily can fit 2 adults or a few kids on couches)

You can also use the gym & mats downstairs (just please tell kiddos to be careful). It has free weights, a heavy bag, a speed bag, resistance bands and yoga mats.

Nice, large capacity washer & dryer. Laundry soap provided.

In the backyard there’s 2 tree swings and soccer goals!
This is a family friendly home bc it is our home when we are in Iowa, we have tried to think of everything but we are human, so if we have missed a spot or forgot something, just let us know- we are easy & reasonable folks that want you to have a great stay and our property manager is a great guy too! However if you are of the high strung, rude, negative Nancy or Karen type-we aren’t for you, please book elsewhere.
