Located on the quiet shores of Loch Kishorn, recently renovated Fáilte Cottage is the perfect holiday spot for Highland holidaymakers looking for a quaint getaway with breathtaking views for maximum rest and relaxation.

The space
Overlooking the Cuillins of Skye and the Applecross Hills, the floor to ceiling living room windows invite the outside in, allowing you and your travel companions to enjoy the west coast vista year-round.
With ample storage available for bikes, kayaks, and other outdoor equipment, Fáilte Cottage is also a great central base for the adventurous travellers wanting to explore the hills and waters of the surrounding area. Day trips to the Isle of Skye are also possible via car from Kishorn, meaning you can visit Scotland’s most popular island destination in addition to your NC500 excursion.
Being only a 10 minute drive away from the village of Lochcarron, you’ll have access to multiple local restaurants, a Spar for groceries, and a fuel station for your onward or homeward journey.

Guest access
On-street car parking. There is no parking immediately beside the cottage door - parking is less than a minute walk down a small path. No camper vans or motor homes, please.

Notice for electric vehicle owners:
Please refrain from charging your electric vehicle at the cottage.
The nearest electric charging points for vehicles can be found in Lochcarron - 4 miles away, opposite the local Spar shop.

Accessibility notes:
One bedroom is located on the ground floor with a king size bed.
One full bathroom is also located on the ground floor, including a bath with attached overhead shower.
Please note there is a small sloping path connecting the main road to the cottage’s front door.
