Lovely house in the artist area of Copenhagen called "Kartoffelrækkerne". It is a group of very unique and cozy houses surrounded by parks and lakes. Quiet place with small garden and lots of restaurants in the neighborhood.

The space

Lovely house in the artist area of Copenhagen called "Kartoffelrækkerne". It is a group of very unique and cozy houses surrounded by parks and lakes. This beautiful house has one big living room combined with a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. Outside it has a small, and again, very cozy garden. It is very close to the city center and yet it is a very quiet area.
The house is for rent from july 20 til september 1. 2012.
It is also very c ose to public transport, a lot of good restaurants and take aways and of curse a grocery store.
It is possible, and actually very easy, to walk to the Copenhagen city center though the park outside the beautiful National Gallery of Denmark and the botanic garden. There is only 50 meters to the lovely copenhagen lakes. Close to museums.
It is possible to rent bikes and see Copenhagen in the best way.
Small garden with afternoon sun.

Rie's place is in the perfect location to see Copenhagen. Clean, on a quiet street and looked as advertised. We would stay there again

Two weeks in Copenhagen in June 2017. And we were so happy! Rie is anwering every question very fast. She is friendly and uncomplcated. Check-in and Check-out were at times that fitted to our flights. And she really made us at home: on our arrival we found flowers, home made jam and things in the fridge. If you're looking for something really 'hygge' you will find it here. The neighbourhood is quiet but you can reach lots of lively places within a short walk. We would love to come back one day...

Great experience within a historical part of Copenhagen. The apartment is very welcoming at the end of long days of exploring and walking.

We cannot thank Rie enough for the wonderful time we had in her house and for how helpful she was. The place is exactly as shown on the pix -- it is big, comfortable and ideally located (quiet neighborhood but close to everything touristy; plus, there are tons of restaurants, take-aways, and a grocery shop within meters). But the place also has a soul, and it made our stay in Copenhagen even more special. Highly recommended!

Rie's townhouse is located in a very special area which was built as housing for workers around 1870. Now it is a very attractive and quiet place, yet amenities are just steps away on the main thoroughfare. It is very central- only a 15 minute walk, most of which can be done through the gorgeous botanical gardens, to Norreport where you find the metro, Torvehallerne food hall, and supermarkets. It also has a good sized bathroom, which, from my searches of other older properties in Copenhagen, was often not the case. One guest commented on rusty knives, and there are some in one drawer. However it is not an issue, since in the main cutlery drawer there are around a dozen quite normal knives, forks and spoons. We really enjoyed our stay at Rie's historic townhouse.

Copenhagen is a wonderful city to visit. This condo is perfectly located to see the major sights. We were able to walk to see everything we wanted to see. The condo itself has everything you need to be comfortable and self-contained. There are a fair amount of stairs, so may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, but otherwise it's perfect.

8/10 Rie was a lovely host waiting patiently upon my arrival that happened to be a little later than expected. She showed me around and gave me all the important info that I needed for my 6-week stay. In that time I realized that the house is very central with about a 5minute bike ride to the city centre (Norreport). Other than that you can explore the city by bike within 15-20min max. Rie allowed me to use her bike, which of course was very convenient. The house itself offers plenty of space. There is a nice sleeping couch in the living room that can easily fit two people. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. The bedroom upstairs offers place for two people as well. The interior is decorated in a classic, not to say vintage, way. Old carpets, furniture and cutlery need to be tolerated. But if you dont mind a little bit of rust and dust, there is no reason you should not contact Rie about her place. Big thanks to Rie for doing me the favor of staying for this period of time. Cheers :)

I like to travel to meet new people and I am looking forward to meet you. I am a writer and my apartment is a lovely, quite working place in one of the best areas in the center of Copenhagen. I enjoy art and have a collection of fine art on the walls.
