Although we never met Jean-Patrice, his Mother-in-law, Latifia, was incredibly hospitable even despite the language barrier. She made us feel right at home in Meknes. The house was lovely to stay in and the roof terrace had superb views over the city. We spent every evening relaxing up there!

Great place to stay was totally awesome when Jean Patrice's piano arrived and he played wonderful music. We stayed in a down stairs room that was a bit dark and a little damp but upstairs was light. A lovely partnership between Fati and Jean. Thank you for having us. Xx

Response from Jean-Patrice:
Hi Hope, thanks for your evaluation ; we just want to clarify 2 points : - our guests have the choice between a fresh and dim light room downstairs, or a warmer and bright room upstairs. If you have told us you wanted another room, we would have change it with pleasure and easily (but obviously everything was perfect for you) - the room is not “a little damp” by itself : you should have opened sometimes your doors or your window (especially after the showers), instead of keeping the room completely closed all the time.

New mattraces not hard as Wood planks and not breaking one' s back are not the only thing that can be improved. We spent only one night of three nights booked

This was a nice and good located riad. The room and common areas were clean. Communication was excellent. They helped us with parking and met us outside the medina which was great as it is not easy to find it for first time visitors. Recommended!

Latifa is a great cook and the place is a nice typical riad! We can only reccomend this place to everyone that want to be in the right place where to learn the culture of the amazigh berbers. You will be in the center of Meknes and to go in Volubilis you have to take a taxi paying it 300 dhr A/R.

Our stay was pleasant and the place was exactly as described. Latifia was our host and was incredibly hospitable despite the language barrier. She helped us in every way possible and made delicious traditional food for us.
