Welcome to Crystal Lake's Little Bear Lodge with Mooring, Kayaks, Bunkhouse and more. Located 15 mins to Lake Winnipesaukee's Alton Bay, 25 mins to Gunstock Mountain, 20 mins to Mt Major, <1 mile Town Beach and Boat Launch. Enjoy all the Lakes Region has to offer - hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, skiing, shopping, attractions. This is our little hidden gem. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Drive down the dirt road to our rustic lake house and leave the hustle and bustle behind. The cabin is bright and charming, featuring 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (plus an outdoor shower), cozy living room, kitchen stocked with the essentials, coffee bar, porch (aka ‘game room’). There is plenty of seating and outdoor space: private deck, firepit with Adirondack chairs, bunkhouse, peekaboo lake views, shared lake frontage (NO BEACH).

Get a great night sleep in a comfy, clean bed and make your morning brew at our coffee bar. Enjoy it in the sun on the private deck or take it for a quiet stroll through this quintessential lakeside neighborhood. Better yet, pack it for a morning Kayak ride!

We have shared water access for swimming or fishing just a 3-5 minute walk from the cabin. You can drop in Kayaks (2 included) or bring your own Paddle Board. Please note - there is NO BEACH or sitting area (see photos). It is simply an access point to swim. To play in the sand, head to the Town Beach < 1 mile away (see photos).

Alton Bay is a 15-minute drive if you'd like to explore Winnipesaukee. Irwin Marine has daily boat rentals and SUP-NH has paddle board rentals (they also deliver). Go a bit further (30 mins) to Wolfeboro or Laconia and rent jet skis. Be sure to check out the Mount Washington Cruise which stops in Alton Bay and five other Ports around Lake Winnipesaukee.

But you don’t need to go to Winni! Pack a lunch, grab floats and head to the Gilmanton Town Beach. Perhaps after hiking Mount Major. Don’t feel like leaving the cabin? You don’t need to! Make lunch on the BBQ, enjoy a cocktail or book on the peaceful deck, play yard games, watch the kids play in the bunkhouse. The vibe at the cabin is fun all on its own.

Gunstock Mountain is also nearby. It has lots of fun activities – Adventure Park, Ziplining (one of the longest zipline tours in the Continental US), E-Bike Tours, Scenic Lift Rides, Off-Road Segway Tours, Mountain Coaster and more.

Whether you head out to explore or relax at Little Bear Lodge, unwind after a fun-filled day by gathering around the fire with smores and good laughs, or partake in good ole fashioned competition with a game night on the porch.

Complimentary WiFi and Apple TV is offered for Guests to use their own streaming accounts (NO cable).

If you are looking for complete seclusion, this may not be the best spot for you (unless its wintertime). The deck and right side of the backyard is private but we do have a couple neighbors. See aerial photos for the property layout.

Hi! Kayla and Tom here. We met in grade school. Now, we live in our dream farmhouse with our baby boy, Ryder, two Wheaten Terriers, Dakota and Wrangler, plus chickens. We love to spend time with our family and friends, enjoy delicious craft beer and explore everything NH has to offer, especially skiing and boating.

We have spent a lot of time in the Lake's Region and are so excited to have a spot of our own to create memories and share with others to do the same!
