On the wild Atlantic way - The Holiday Pub in West Cork is much like many other country pubs in Ireland, with one very special difference -You can now stay here on a self catering basis and have the place to yourself & 15 friends as a Holiday Home! Building on the success of the original Holiday Pub in Tipperary, we are delighted to introduce our new venue in West Cork

The space
The original pub dates back to the 1800's, when 3 cottages were converted into the 2nd licensed pub Public House in Ireland!! The building now includes a games room, kitchen, living area and accommodation upstairs . Now you can experience living in the Pub! Settle in the lounge or into one of the comfy leather chairs in the sun room and the stove will bring back all the charm of how a Pub used to be. Move into the main bar area and get yourself a drink - you can argue over who will be the bar person for the night! The lounge has both a stove and an open fireplace and seating for everyone. We've provided everything you need to run your own bar.
You can connect a keg (Guinness products only) and pour yourself the perfect pint, or load up the optics with your favourite spirits and indulge in a few cocktails. Re :Keg -For a small charge (see other things to note) We provide cooler, gas and tap. There are several off-licences or specialist companies that supply kegs. The pub does not have a license so we cannot help you here!
After a few drinks in the evening see if you can't resist finding out who in your group is the pool champion - if pool is not your game the well equipped games room lets you battle over darts, rings and Air Hockey. When you retire for the evening the pub has six bedrooms with an assortment of King size, single and combination rooms to cater for your group. Four of the bedrooms enjoy ensuite bathrooms, with rooms five and six sharing a shower room. There's a living room downstairs with a 55" smart TV (there's a second one in the bar also) and one in the main bedroom. while meals prepared in the Kitchen are enjoyed in the lounge (The pub used to serve food and everything you need to prepare meals for 16 is in the kitchen). On the sunny days (yes, we do get them) you can enjoy the patio area to the front of the Pub.
Bar and Lounge facilities at The Holiday Pub
Spirits
Bottle holders and optics are available to allow you to dispense spirits. To put a bottle in the optic simply gently pull the small pin underneath the optic to release it, push it in to the bottle and then gently push the optic back in to the holder, ensuring that the spring loaded retainer is secure in the base of the upside down bottle. Please remove the rubber part of the optics from your bottle before you leave or you will be charged.
Beer/Wine/Soft drinks
A beer cooler fridge is available for storing all your bottles and cans.
Music
The bar/ lounge had a Bluetooth amplified sound system. Please note: Guests are not permitted to bring their own sound systems.
Glasses
We provide all the glassware you will need – lager and stout glasses, pint glasses, wine glasses, high ball glasses etc. Please return the glasses to the correct location for the next guests. We understand that glasses do break but please let us know of all breakages so we can organize replacements before the next guests arrive. Unfortunately we have had a large number of glasses go missing so we have had to put a charge in place for missing glasses (see other things to note) .
Decorations and memorabilia
We do ask that all are returned to their original place when finished as otherwise our House Manager flags them to us as missing chargeable items.
Pool and Air hockey table
Please do not put food , drinks or anything on the pool or air hockey tables if these items are damaged the full security deposit will be claimed and payable.
Guest access
Please access the property at the rear of the building- The entire place is all yours!
