The space
This countryside lakehouse has an enormous main bedroom with a king bed, bunk beds and en suite bathroom, a second bedroom that has two twin beds, and plenty of space for air mattresses which are provided. The kitchen and living area provide an inviting area to spend time with family, with a beautiful custom-made island for eating or playing games, which we have over 30 to choose from, and a large comfy couch to kickback near the fireplace and read a book. The enormous deck offers plenty of space for grilling, entertaining and watching wildlife, with a lovely large teak outdoor table, and four lounge chairs to catch some rays or gaze at the stars at night. The house is located on 4 acres of land that are adjacent to Lake Oroville.

The property is directly adjacent to Lake Oroville and when at typical water levels, the lake can be viewed from the deck and several areas on the property. There is no direct access to the lake from the property, however the Lime Saddle Marina is a short 10 minute drive and offers a boat launch, as well as boat rentals and water activities.

A short drive up Highway 70 offers beautiful hiking and river activities.

Chico is about 30 minutes down the hill, and offers a lively downtown with unique shops and restaurants. Chico is most famous for Bidwell Park, which is larger than Central Park in NY. There are so many opportunities for leisurely walking or hiking.

Oroville is about 25 minutes down the hill, and is much smaller, but has some unique spots to check out, such as walking along the Dam on Lake Oroville, as well as a reviving downtown.

All around the property are endless opportunities for outdoor activities.
