Sitting in the shadow of the Beartooth mountains is our family cabin. The Cabin sits atop a bluff that overlooks the Westfork of the Stillwater river and next to a former art gallery. Riverfront access is a short walk down the bluff, with great trout fishing at your fingertips. Multiple national forest access points are a very short drive, that have great recreation opportunities and even better views. Wildlife sightings are a regular occurrence, but do watch for animals on the road.

The space
This is a 1-bedroom cabin, there is a loft with a full sized bed as well and the couch is a pull-out couch. We do not recommend young children use the loft as the ladder up could be dangerous. The property is on the edge of a hillside that offers great views with the sound of the Westfork as nice background noise. Make note, during the spring the smooth river sound can get quite loud due to run-off. There is a road that leads down to the river and cuts through our neighbors to a very small fishing hut and riverfront access, if walking down to the river please respect the neighbors wishes and only walk on the road to our river front access. Small children should not be left unattended by the river as well regardless of the season, as the Stillwater can be quite swift.

There is a small selection of original black and white photography one of our family members makes from taking the photo using a pinhole camera to developing the negatives and prints and finally matting and framing. If guests are interested in purchase feel free to inquire.
