This is a very special cottage in the woods. It is peaceful and excellent place to rest and rejuvenate. We visited a nearby maple syrup farm and learned a lot about them. The concert at Marlboro college was a surprise bonus for me. Theo is very kind, warm and friendly.

Great to be back at Theo's place again. As ever, it was a wonderfully peaceful week in a beautiful setting. The weather was hot at points, but inside the apartment it stayed cool and comfortable. The apartment was furnished with everything we needed. Theo welcomed us back warmly, as ever, and was nearby to help with anything we needed. Hope to return again soon!

We had a nice stay in South Vermont thanks to Theo’s convient location between Brattleboro and Wilmington. The description and the pictures are very accurate, don’t expect more. Theo was here to help us check in, check out, and he gave us the simple home rules. Easy!

this is an amazing location in walking distance to the college. the space is very private. with a few homey touches like rugs and soaps and dish towels for the kitchen it could be very nice. the floor needed mopping.

I am an avid traveler having bicycled throughout the USA, Australia & New Zealand, camping as I went, growing sprouts and sourdough starter on the back of my bicycle.
This apartment, house, cottage & greenhouse I built entirely by myself. I love doing various projects most dealing with sustainable living and alternative energy. I consider myself a carpenter / artisan, making furniture and art from found materials.
I love living in the serenity of the woods, I know you will too.
