The space
The cottage is shrouded by lush nature and has splendid and calming views of Moira River. Enjoy the spacious deck at breakfast or lunch time under the shade of the umbrella, or just shelter from the sun in the gazebo lounging on the sofa to admire the river views or the beautiful garden. Access the water by the end of the dock where water is 3 to 4 meters deep, spend the day swimming, fishing, kayaking, or playing ping-pong. In the evening, enjoy a glass of wine outside by the fire pit or fire bowl, or inside by the warming light of the gas stove. The living room has a pull-out sofa and a dedicated work space equipped with two desks (one of them height adjustable) and two monitors.

Roads leading to the property are scattered with bucolic pastures, crop fields and rustic barns. You might encounter wildlife: hummingbirds, deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, foxes... The cottage is on a private road winding through the forest, part of a quiet and friendly community on Moira river. Only 10 minutes drive away from hwy 37, the town of Tweed, fishing attraction of Stoco lake, Vanderwater Conservation Area. You can find almost everything you need in and around Tweed : restaurants, supermarket, pharmacies, beer-store, LCBO, gas stations, coffee shops, antique stores, ice cream store, farmer's market, local butcher' shop, brewery, winery, eggs and dairy stores... For everything else, there's also Bellville (30 min drive).
