Cozy townhouse with its own small garden and courtyard. The house is within walking distance of everything in the old maritime town of Marstal and close to the cozy harbor environment and the beach with nice old bathhouses. With a base here, you can experience and explore beautiful Ærø.

The space
In the yellow house from 1877, there is room for 6 people. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms with double box mattresses. In an annex there are 2 single beds. On the ground floor there is a bathroom, a kitchen with open access to the living room with TV, bluetooth speaker, internet and lots of games in the cupboard :) From the living room there is an exit to the south and west facing lawn often with sun and shade as well as benches from which the sunset can be enjoyed. From the back of the house, there is access to a lovely, undisturbed courtyard, where there is almost always shelter to be found. There are garden furniture and barbecue, and in the bicycle shed there are 4 bicycles that may be used. If you need more bicycles, they can be rented at Stean Møller's maritime shop at Havnegade.

Guest access
It's okay to park outside the house when unloading and loading, but otherwise, there are parking spaces behind the old town hall on Vestergade.

Markgade with the connected houses starts at the square, from which the shopping street/pedestrian street starts. From here, it is also a short distance to the harbor, marina with good playgrounds and out to Eriks Hale, where you will find "The world's sweetest beach house" among the charming bathhouses and a beautiful beach for large and small as well as a bathing jetty. Shopping: Small grocery store just across the street, a very large Superbrugsen, several and versatile shops, restaurants and cafes. Even if it doesn't rain, visit the unique Marstal Maritime Museum anyway and feel free to bring children. In the courtyard there is a maritime playground where they can board the good ship "Martha" etc. Should it rain, you can read Carsten Jensen's bestseller "Vi, de druknede" ("We, the drowned"), where the maritime history of Ærø is the theme.

You can read more at ærø.dk or get inspired already during the ferry trip in the tourist magazine "ÆRØ GUIDE".

Other things to note
The tenant is responsible for leaving the house in a clean condition. See the folder in the house for further details.
