The space

The space is a restored 1830s stone barn
which I renovated from scratch. Great care was taken to keep the character of the region. The bedrooms are on opposite ends of the house and are both ensuite allowing for maximum privacy. The house is only rented in its entirety, and by the week, Saturday to Saturday

Guest access

Full access to the house and it's 13 surrounding acres. Hiking trails on the edge of the property. Dordogne River is a 7 minute walk down the hill.Biking trails within 10 minutes as well as 2 towns to service all your shopping needs.

Interaction with guests

This is a private home. There will be no interaction with any other guests, other than your own rental party.

A very tranquil setting in the beautiful Dordogne. A truly relaxing and idyllic spot and a nicely renovated but still rustic barn. A helpful host who obviously knows and loves the area well and local contacts on hand - not that we needed them! All very easy, it was hard to leave!
