Small cozy fishing lodge with beach plot and stunning views of the sea. The sandy beach just below the house is as attractive in summer with a swimming jetty and beach café as it is in winter for lovely walks. Several seating areas on different floors. The house is located in the middle of the coastal village of Svarte, 6 km from Ystad. Very good transportation about 150 meters from the house, trains to Ystad and Simrishamn or Malmö and Copenhagen. Bus between Ystad and Trelleborg about 100 meters away. The Sydkustleden bike path runs just above the house.

The space
The house is a semi-detached house from the late 1800s with a completely outstanding location right next to the sea and the nice beach in Svarte. The view is one of the absolute best along the coast and has been optimized with several patios that all have panoramic views of the sea. The bedroom upstairs is reached via a steep staircase, has a double bed, a crib for baby and a day bed that can also be made for two children, for example. In the living room there are two armchairs and a sofa that can be made into two beds. Dining area with space for six people. TV with Apple TV. Wi-Fi. Small but well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, induction hob, hot air oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, etc. Small bathroom with toilet and shower. Several patios on different floors in the wooden deck. Gas grill. Lawn below with barbecue (charcoal) spacious table with benches and countertops. Outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after bathing.

We make the beds and provide towels for showering. You have to bring your own bath towels.

Guest access
You have access to the whole house and the whole lawn and patios that are next to the house. A smaller cottage is located to the east, diagonally below the house, and is a separate rental property.

Svarte is an old fishing village by the sea, located only 5 minutes from Ystad. On the coastal side, the buildings consist mainly of period-typical fishermen's cottages and houses from the late 1800s to the early 1900s with fabulous sea views from the back of the gardens. This is one of these unique fishermen's cottages with a plot all the way down to the beach.

Fishing all year round for cod, pollack, mackerel, pike, perch, salmon and zander. Fishing license not required. Perfect location near Ystad with Wallander's children's walks and Ystad zoo with outdoor pool in summer. Nearby are several excursion destinations such as Köpingsberg, Kåseberga, Ale Stenar, Stenshuvud National Park and Kivik with its apple orchards. Nearby you have Ystad and Abbekås golf courses. If you want to shop, you can go to Malmö or why not Copenhagen.

The house is from the 1800s and has a slightly lower ceiling height. The bedroom is located on the upper floor of the house and is accessed through a steep staircase.

Experience cozy Ystad or magically beautiful Österlen with lots of different excursions and activities. If you want to feel the big city pulse one day, you can easily take the train to Malmö or Copenhagen. Otherwise, you have Black beach right next to you, only 10 meters below the garden (!) - a real beach gem with both pier, kayak rental and glass kiosk. In the village there is a tennis court, playground, obstacle course and smaller football field gathered in a quiet area. The coastline has a walking and cycling route that makes it safe and secure to get both to Ystad and along the entire south coast to the west. Very beautiful surroundings around Charlottenlund Castle and Marsvinsholm Castle that are well suited for a long walk or a run. The films about Wallander have been filmed here and both Wallander's house and the prosecutor's house are just a few hundred meters from this house, on the same beach (Black beach). If you are interested in golf, you will find many golf courses within easy reach: Abbekås GK 8 km, Ystad GK 13 km, Bedinge GK 20 km, Sjöbo GK 27 km, Tegelberga GK 33 km, Söderslätts GK 42 km, Vellinge GK 44 km, Trelleborgs GK 45 km, Österlens GK Djupadal 52 km, Österlens GK Lilla Vik 53 km.

We live in the village of Svarte outside Ystad, where several of our houses are located with outstanding sea views. Trained jurist and works as an office area manager for the state service office in Malmö City. I have been in politics for a long time and am chairman of the Ystad City Council.
