This is an old private house with red tiles in the Sonu settlement of Yonaguni Island, at the end of Yaeyama, Okinawa Prefecture.

The inn is located in a quiet village with few cars. You can feel the sounds of birds and insects, the sound of the wind, and the scent of nature nearby.

You can freely use the kitchen to cook for yourself.

We do not provide transportation to and from Yonaguni Airport and Kubara Port.
Please use a rental car or the free shuttle bus on the island to get to the inn.

The price shown is for 1 whole house adult.

Children under 6 years old and infants can sleep together for free.

The inn has low ceilings and many steps.
I always clean and take care of it.
It will be an old building, so I think there are some areas of concern and inconvenience, but you can experience living in an old-fashioned red tile house in Okinawa.

There is a separate building with a toilet, laundry room, and bathroom shower on the premises of the inn, so please use it.It is adjacent to the building you are staying in, so you can move without getting wet in the rain.

The roof under the red tiles is dirt, so if heavy rain continues, there may be some rainwater on the ceiling. Please let us know if you can make a reservation.

Guest access
There is a two-story building at the entrance to the property, but please refrain from entering as both the first and second floors are staff-only spaces.

Parking available at the entrance to the inn.

Other things to note
You can cook freely using the cooking utensils.
We don't provide food, but
but basic condiments are available, so please feel free to use them. Salt, sugar, soy sauce, oil, etc.

For short-term stays, we sell rice by weight.

Please purchase vegetables, meat, etc. at the shops on the island or bring them with you.

There is one air conditioner in the bedroom. Please help us conserve electricity by setting the timer when you go out.

If you leave the door open, cats and other animals will come in, so please close the door or use the screen door.

Because it is an old wooden building, some insects and geckos come out. They do no harm to people.

If you are nervous or want hotel-like facilities and environment, please refrain from booking.

There are no toothbrushes in the amenities.
Please bring your own.

There is no TV. Please have a quiet time.

No one other than guests is allowed in the accommodation or on the premises.
If we find someone, or if we receive a report, you will be charged an additional accommodation fee.

If you enter the address of the inn in the car navigation of a rental car, you may be guided to the back road of the inn.

Please check the URL for access from the airport to the accommodation attached to the message sent when the reservation is confirmed.

Yonaguni Island is the westernmost island in Japan between Taiwan and Okinawa. Fascinated by the life and culture of its unique geography and vegetation, we moved to this island and started an inn. Big winds and strong sunsets and oceans that surround the island. They are so spectacular that they are just in case. Living here gives us a sense that we live with the earth. We would appreciate it if you could taste that air in an old house. It is the furthest Japanese shop, and I look forward to welcoming you all.
