A stone’s throw from the idyllic beaches of Southampton, this cottage is the perfect spot for your family get-a-way, or retreat with your partner, or a get together with friends.

The stunning South Beach with its incredible sunsets is only a 12 min walk (or a 1 min drive, with free parking). Southampton downtown is a 5 min drive/25 min walk and boasts fantastic restaurants for all tastes, and great boutiques. Gorgeous trails, tennis and horseback riding are all just around the corner.

The space

Neighbourhood highlights

Located on the shores of Lake Huron, nestled between Sauble Beach and Port Elgin, Southampton is a beautiful and charming vacation destination. The stunning sandy beaches and warm water are only a 12 minute walk (or a one minutes drive, with free parking) from Stonesthrow cottage. The sunsets are absolutely incredible.

The cottage is located at the end of a quiet street with a park, direct and very close access to a gorgeous trails system 5 min walk away). Tennis courts and horseback riding all within short walking distance.

Southampton downtown is also a short drive (5 min) or walk (25 minutes) away and boasts fantastic restaurants for all tastes, and great boutiques. You can enjoy all this, but not miss the amenities of home- grocery and other stores, LCBO, movie theatre are all easily accessible.

If you’re interested in day trips, there are lots of great options to consider: the Grotto and Flowerpot island in Tobermory is an hour and 20 minutes drive while Sauble beach and its many restaurants and activities are 20 minutes away
