Bunthai was a great host with good communication beforehand, dealing with date changes and sorting out airport transfers etc, and on hand to help while we were there. We used the whole apartment ie two ensuite double bedrooms (both with balconies shared with other users of the building) and a connecting vestibule, together forming one of two apartments on the second floor. There's a decent shared kitchen on the third floor which was ok for cooking and a shared roof terrace which was great for sitting in a shady breeze in the heat of the afternoon. If you're reasonable in your expectations, you'll find this a good apartment. It's not 5 star western luxury but it's relatively clean and well equipped, big comfy (firm) beds, linens supplied, wifi, ceiling fan, air con and a pool (which we didn't use). It's maybe 5-10 minutes ($3-4 a trip) by tuk tuk into the centre of town which is both an advantage (away from the partying, more local) and a disadvantage (make sure you know the address and how to get there as the tuk tuk drivers dont, there's not much immediately around so you're back and forward into town at least twice a day which means things are a bit lacking in spontaneity) but overall it was nice to be away from the tourist hot spots. Of the two rooms, the one at the front without the potential third bed was better as the wifi was stronger and it was quieter, tho there's no bath in that room, just a shower; the other room has bath with shower over (but we didn't use the bath anyway). In the back room, you couldn't get much of a wifi signal unless you were right by the entrance door. Being in a local area means if you're a light sleeper you may be woken up as people start to go to work etc which can be quite early (6 am) plus, in the back room, by the neighbours dogs barking like mad on and off during the night, and the neighbouring tuk tuk drivers coming home at 1 or 2 in the morning (so bring ear plugs). Overall tho we really enjoyed our stay. I don't know how it compared with other tourist accommodation in terms of cost but we felt it was reasonable for what we got and would recommend it providing you're not expecting the Ritz. We would stay there again.

Thanks to Bunthai and his brother, my trip is rounded off with a cheerful mind. This is my first time to go to Cambodia as a backpacker, therefore, I was not familiar with the local environment. Bunthai and her brother helped me a lot during the whole trip. The room here is big and comfortable. You can also go to the old market in 15 minutes. The price of this guesthouse is fair and deserve. If you go there for travel and not sure about the local environment, they are willing to answer your questions and also can provide a lot of useful information to you. Highly recommend for you to live in this hostel.

Very hospitable people. Bit out of the way from pub street but the tuk tuk driver is very helpful for getting around. Would recommend.

Bunthai and her brother were very kind. Although we didn't see Bunthai often, she was very helpful when I became ill on the trip. The location is okay, about 15 minute tuk tuk ride to Pub Street which is where we ate most of our meals. There were some small bugs around the room but we were expecting it since we were in Cambodia.

Nice place to stay; very safe. Very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, full of privacy. Can have access to the private kitchen to prepare meals if needed. It was a home away from home for me. Bunthai, her brother Buntha and his family are very respectable, friendly and helpful. Both Bunthai and Buntha are ready to advise and explain about the history, places to visit depending on individual taste with many years of their experience as tour-guides. House close to the air-port, Angkor Wat and other ancient ruins. Their neighbor Mr. Sam Nang is a dependable and safe tuk-tuk driver. His charges are reasonable.
