The neighborhood has the nickname "Little Rome," and is home to Catholic University, the Pope Paul II Cultural Center and many beautiful churches. Its awe-inspiring architecture, includes the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Civil War-era forts and the National Arboretum’s two-acre herb garden which includes the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum. The "Little Rome" neighborhood offers a wide variety of restaurants, bookstores, yoga, and fitness studios.
The Pied-a-Terre is walking distance to two Metro transit stops, and bus transit stops are 1 block away. Free street parking is available in front of the apartment.

Check in is 3 pm-8 pm. Please notify us if you plan to arrive after 8pm. Check out time is 12 noon.
Entry and Keys
Guests will be given a key upon arrival, and the deadbolt entry code. Guests will return key upon checking out. While in the space, use the deadbolt top lock for security.
This is a 100% non-smoking environment. You may wish to smoke outside in the backyard.
Free, wireless Internet access is available, and DirectTV Satellite.
Guest basket of snacks and water will be provided, and sample skin, bath and hair products are available for your use. There is a clock radio with alarm, and a small CD/radio music system.
Free on–street parking is available in front of the house.
The apartment has an electric “fireplace” heat and can be adjusted as needed for comfort.
The wall bed opens as double sleeping bed, and the couch also adjusts to serve as sleeping space for one person. Extra bedding, pillows and blankets are located in the storage area of the couch.
Eating & Food
A small refrigerator, microwave and oven/toaster are provided. Kitchenette includes small eating space with dishes and utensils. A listing of area restaurants and eating establishments are provided in a separate listing.
The Metrorail is easy walking distance from the Pied a Terre. MetroBus service is a block away.
