Enjoy a bright and spacious double room with a private bathroom in the heart of Portobello.
As in the film Notting Hill "Spend your days, in this small village in the middle of a city, in a house with a grey door."
My penthouse maisonette is a little quirky. You climb the stairs to the top floor and enter on the bedroom floor. You then take a short windy flight up to the open living area, with soft sofas, large dining space, open fire and access to the large balcony - all with a chic Bohemian vibe. The generous double room comfortably accommodates 2 people. There is a large double wardrobe with plenty of hanging and storage space and a lovely Barcelona chair to sit and watch the world go by. During your stay, browse through the collection of travel guides and plan your next trip.
There are lots of little touches to make your stay more homely:
•600 thread count soft cotton sheets
•Fluffy towels and robes
•Cowshed bath & body products
•An incredibly well equipped kitchen
There is also access to the private communal garden and in the summer months, is a lovely place to relax with a blanket and a bottle of wine on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Feel free to unwind on the balcony with a glass of wine overlooking the famous gardens - and in the distance to can see swanky shopping stop Westfield, handy but only if you're able to tear yourself away from Portobello
Other things to note

I'm a Londoner born and bred! I've lived in my flat over 20 years, because I know that nowhere else could make me feel this comfortable. I'm very happy to tip you off with my insider knowledge - from the bargain, excellent Portuguese cafes on Golborne Road to the Michelin star restaurants near Notting Hill Gate, from vintage market shopping to hip local London boutiques. I am also a dedicated home chef and local foodie and run my own supperclub in the flat so I can give you an insider run-down on the best delis, wine stops, street food and great market stalls.
