Nestling between gentle pastures and ancient chestnut groves, far from the bustle of the city, Ginestous, a farmhouse dating from 1664 has been carefully restored to provide modern comfort while preserving its charm and character.
For a weekend in the B&B or a short stay in the eco-friendly gîte, we invite you to leave your car in the parking to explore the wild nature of the unspoilt Viaur Valley. Whether you like to bike, hike or swim (or even climb), the Viaur Gorges are bound to enchant you. Should you fancy going further afield, Ginestous provides an ideal base to explore the charms of the Aveyron, department blessed with nine of the most beautiful villages of France.

Interaction with guests
We both speak fluently French and English and enjoy helping our guests get to know the area. We also get by in Danish, Spanish.
Other things to note
Green tourism with lots of hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, canoe-kayak, swimming in the Viaur (one of the cleanest rivers in France). You can also visit many of the most beautiful villages of France located less than one hour away. Our favorite are Najac, Belcastel, Sauveterre de Rouergue, St Cirq Lapopie, Cordes sur Ciel. Albi, a beautiful and vibrant city with its unique Cathedral in bricks is well worth spending a day.
Open air markets, flea markets, restaurants and various festivals are not to be missed.
