About this listing
Convenient, but calm. Lively, but private. This may sound impossible, but if you walk six minutes from the main intersection of Bloor and Spadina, you will enter a cheerful, tree-lined neighborhood.
On the main floor, there is a full kitchen and sunny seating area; and in the basement there is a common room with plenty of seating space. Surrounding the house is a park and a backyard with mature trees offering privacy, scenery, and natural sunlight. Our favourite bedroom is on the second floor, featuring a mural and a sunroom with windows along 3 walls! (It feels like being in a treehouse.)
Depending on availability, you can book the entire house, or individual rooms. Private bedrooms lock individually, and common spaces are shared.
Interaction with guests
During check-in times, a member of our team can give you access to your room, a tour of the house, and answer any initial questions. Feel free to send us a message during your stay if there is anything we can do to make it more enjoyable. Contact us during business hours by airbnb messages, phone, or in person at our office (approximately a 10 minute walk from the house). We will also provide after hours contact information. In case of emergency, please call 911.
Welcome to the Annex! This residential neighborhood is a social hub and is known for its proximity to food, entertainment, shopping, public transit and the University.
Because this house is located just north of a main intersection, it is very accessible to public transportation. The Spadina subway station is a seven minute walk from the house. From the station, you can catch buses, or the subway going east, west, north, or south.
No unauthorized overnight guests.
Failure to return keys will result in a $100.00 charge per key.
You may request to extend your stay up to two times with the approval of the Program Manager.
