2021 complete remodel of this cozy cedar cabin on a private lot close to the best of Camano -- community beach access to miles of shoreline, Camano State Park, Cama Beach, golf, and other amenities. Or just relax by the wood burning stove or covered outdoor solo stove fire pit and appreciate the stillness of the Island (firewood is included). Just 65 miles from Seattle with no ferries!

The space
This is a cabin! Well laid out, with one bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed, and two twin beds in an open loft, accessed by a steep ships ladder - requires some effort to climb up there! The couch converts to another bed as well.

Guest access
This is a level neighborhood, great for walking. The private community beach access is a short drive (or a steep walk) located at the bottom of the hill, next to the State Park, but we enjoy accessing the State Park's trail system just down the street and walking from the cabin (the unmarked access trail to the state park is just opposite the security gate at the top on Honeycomb). There is plenty of parking on site for 3-4 cars. Access to the cabin is through a gate, which may be padlocked in the off season. This is a very private setting, although close into a neighborhood and mid-island, just a minute to Elger Bay Cafe and about six miles to the IGA Grocery Store and Camaloch Golf Course.

Neighbourhood highlights

This is a quiet neighborhood with large lots, some horses, chickens, and lots of forest. Central on Camano Island and about 20 minutes to I-5, 8 miles to a full line grocery store, and a mile to "Elger Bay Grocery" for fishing gear and smaller grocery items, as well as a cafe. We are in a walkable, level location, and the neighborhood abuts Camano Island State Park -- there is a trail that comes from Honeycomb Lane into the park's trail system which is delightful. We also share a community beach which gives you access to the beach and water for kayaking, beachcombing, etc.
