You don’t need a car, it’s all here. This place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit in east Sacramento. Truly unique is the bedroom above one of east Sacramento’s original farm houses. Wake to the birds, walk to Sellands for lunch, Temple for coffee, or Celistiens for dinner. Once here, you won’t touch your car again.

Note: kitchen and bathroom are on the first floor and the panoramic bedroom is on the second floor. Note: this is a walkable area. Small but cute in ES.

The space
Everyone loves the Fonz (named by a tenant and refers to the happy days actor (Fonzy). It’s a sweet space in the heart of true East Sacramento and it’s virtually on the corner of the fabulous 40’S at 50th and H.

Life at the Fonz is calm and simple. Access to everything is a bicycle ride away, a bus, Taxi, or walk to the best of Sacramento. Private entrance to the unit is through our west garden gate which opens to a small courtyard on the side of the property, great for a morning coffee and a book. This unique space is awesome and a true morning calm or relax area at the end of day.

Guest access
Guests have a private side entrance off of H Street. Simply walk up the stone path on the west side of our grey cottage at 5010 H. Street to the garden gate open and enter a canopy of trees and walk into the courtyard. Pop up the stairs to the red door to your side entrance and into a small European style kitchen where you can prepare your own fantastic meals or prepare takeout from one of the many restaurants which includes Sellands, the Nook, and many more.

A small bathroom and shower on the first floor, and hall closet for coats and shoes.

Walk up the stairs to the bedroom and now you have views over the neighborhood East Sacramento. This small apartment is fondly called the “Fonzi”.

Other things to note
Parking is easy and simple on 50th street at H. Park beneath the old growth tree canopy. From parking you are one house away from the garden entrance off of H street.
