Pool and Jacuzzi. In an effort to keep per night cost down there is a $20.00 fee per use for the jacuzzi to cover cost of the propane.
Also be advised that it is important to closely follow the instructions for use of the spa to avoid excessive use of the propane resulting in additional fees.

Other things to note

IMPORTANT
Please access utility information book (in the home) re. usage of Jacuzzi/Pool/Gas fire place.

Due to structure of my home with the beam ceilings and no attic to provide ducting space it is impossible to have ducted air conditioning. I do however now have a mini-split AC unit for the humid summer months of July and August The rest of the year the house is cooled by an evaporative cooler that works great when the air is dry with low humidity. Additionally the pool is perfect during these months so whenever you decide to make your dessert trip you will be comfortable whether cooled by AC or evaporative cooler or warmed by the cozy gas fireplace or mini split heater during the colder winter months .

We really don't know where to start! What a fabulous home & a fabulous host. Pricilla was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The house was peaceful & perfect & lacked nothing. Lovely comfortable bed with great facilities. Everything explained on our arrival & Priscilla on hand should we have needed her for anything. The saltwater pool & jacuzi were both lovely & welcome due to the glorious sunshine & heat. We loved the cats, ground squirrels, bats & listening to the coyotes at night. We flew out from England & married in Joshua Tree National Park & returned to Priscilla's lovely home for four further nights to start our honeymoon before heading off on our road trip once again. It was all perfect. Thank you for the surprise wedding guests Priscilla. They were most unexpected but I guess that sums up the wonderful caring person that you are. We will be back to stay in your fabuolous home to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio on one of our wedding anniversaries in the not too distant future. Thank you once again for letting us share your home.

Priscilla was warm and inviting when we arrived. Her home is as well, we felt so comfortable. Her backyard is a beautiful oasis, of which we enjoyed immensely. Morning coffee and most meals were enjoyed on the back patio with nice ceiling fans for the more warm afternoons. The salt water pool and jacuzzi were a dream, and we enjoyed them very much. There is an extra charge for the jacuzzi per use, which is very reasonable since it runs/heats via propane. We brought our dog and he enjoyed the nice size fenced in yard. There are lots of nice amenities including a large grill and full kitchen if you decide to stay in and cook. This mini getaway was just what we needed and we can't wait to return.

We had the most amazing time at Priscilla's place. It's a beautiful and spacious house and we didn't want for anything. The kitchen is fully stocked, the pool and hot tub are heavenly, and the bed is beyond comfortable. The stargazing from the hot tub and visiting with her cats on the catio were two of my favorite things. Priscilla responded to our needs and was otherwise just doing her own thing and we never really saw her other than the arrival and upon leaving. We had all the privacy and peace and quiet we needed. We cannot wait to come back to this desert escape!

Priscilla's home is much larger than the photos make it seem. The bed was super comfy and we enjoyed our time in the cold salt water pool! The backyard has plenty of shaded areas and a ton of comfy places to lounge. We weren't aware that Priscilla would be on the property during our stay but had a great time overall. Note that the house has very dim lighting throughout so it gets very dark after sundown. Thankfully Pricilla has multiple wall candles and a gas lamp to help lighten it up. I definitely recommend checking this place out for a calm getaway!

It was the perfect place to experience Joshua tree. We were so comfortable it was hard to leave, the pool was perfect in the desert heat. Sitting outside in the spacious backyard and looking at the stars was magical!

Priscilla User ProfilePriscilla is a superhost.

I am a retired RN looking to meet new people and do some travel. I am hoping Airbnb will allow me to succeed in both of these endeavors by renting my house part time and travel while others are enjoying the wonder of Joshua Tree and my home. My favorite quote by JR Tolkein is "not all who wander are lost" . I plan to live this philosophy while traveling near and far. MY life's motto is "Do No Harm" While this is a difficult one to live up to, it is one that I welcome as a challenge to live on a daily basis wether near of far from home. I look forward to the many strangers I will meet in the future some of whom will perhaps become life long friends other whose fleeting acquaintance may provide me with memories of happy times shared.
